12:00 AM
@GypsySpellweaver ?

That is part of a new experiment.

It has a "sponsor".

I see.
I saw it since day 2.

They are trying to repeat what worked so well for AskUbuntu and Canonical

12:01 AM
or is it 3?

It had a sponsor as of day-one

I didn't saw the site at day uno.
but day 2 or 3.

I think it even didn't quite finish commitment, but got a "boost" to make the sponsor happy, and have it ready for when the sponsor launched some other product.
It's all in the early questions on their meta.

I wish... you know.
cough Weapons.

I'm hoping that it works well. I'm a little bit worried that the sponsor might try to strong arm some of the content and bend it to their way of thinking, even if the normal user base doesn't want it to go that way.
@HenryWHHackv2.1.1 That could be good, or it could be bad.

12:06 AM
@GypsySpellweaver The NRA is under attack.

What if the US Army sponsored the site? Would they try to edit out any speculation of capabilities for weapons in development?

There is a protest to inforce gun control.
@GypsySpellweaver NSA?

I don't think the NSA would "sponsor" a site about weapons. It wouldn't make sense.
They might try to "sponsor" the crypto site however.

All that comes as no real surprise. Americans are fast to react, but slow to think.
If you "outlaw" guns, only "outlaws" will have guns.

12:11 AM
Some say the whole thing is a trick to make us defense less.
There want to control us.
That's a conspiracy

I think, if there is a conspiracy involved, that it's more likely that the events, and debate, are to make people "look" at that, and then ignore something really important that can be done quietly behind their backs.
Political version of the shell game.

12:33 AM
@GypsySpellweaver YO!

Present, and accounted for, Sir!

So, what happened to your power?

Low voltage problems.
The breaker box is expose to the weather.

Do you have "line" power, or do you have to make your own?

12:40 AM
@GypsySpellweaver

Be that as it may, glad that you're safe and sound anyway.

I have to go soon.
@GypsySpellweaver Bye.
Until...

tttfn
Hope you can borrow power more often.

12:52 AM
The next month or two.

Mith will unfreeze room when ever it's needed.

I figured that out years ago.

1:08 AM
@Mithrandir Bye again. :(
