Q: Updating answers to point to latest rules

Joe WI noticed that an answer for a Settlers of Catan was recently updated to have a link point to a newer version of the rules and I am not sure the impact this has on the answer. While the edit summary said it was because the other link was no longer working it could change the meaning of the answer...

That meme inspired me to do some poking around:
• For the entire time span from '93 up to 2011, a total of 23 cards were banned in standard. No cards were banned 2011-2016.
• During/after Urza's Saga, the most broken block ever made, 10 cards got banned in standard.
• In 2017-2020, there have been 20 cards that have been banned in Standard.
At this pace by mid next year, 2017-2021 will have seen more cards banned in standard than were ever banned in standard for the entire game's history prior.
