Why was Tosefta ("Supplement") not incorporated into the Mishnah? Is it any less authoritative? Many teachings therein are also in the Mishnah, but not all. Are those that are not included specifically rejected?
I may be reading the Taz wrong in סימן סז, in אורח חיים, but it seems very perplexing to me.

A few Rabbonim mentioned in shiurim on TorahAnytime the concept that being constantly afraid of something tragic happening to oneself can bring about its fulfillment. Where do we find such a concept of Hashem eventually sending people whatever negative events they are afraid of occuring?
