@Loewian I don't understand what this new tag is for. You haven't added a tag wiki to explain it. There is no obvious patter among the questions you've applied it to so far. — Double AA ♦2 hours ago
What is the phrase in the Munich talmud, sanhedrin 59a, for what became 'oved kochavim'?
I can see a talmud online that is probably censored.

ואמר ר' יוחנן עובד כוכבים שעוסק בתורה חייב מיתה שנאמר (דברים לג, ד)
תורה צוה לנו משה מורשה לנו מורשה ...
I remember discussing with someone on MY the different spellings of malkhuyot and malkhiyot in the musaf. Have you seen an actual question about it? I can't find it...
I've just been reading Maimonides and he says in the Mishneh Torah (Immersion Pools chapter 11)
Therefore the sages have said, if a man immerses himself, but without
special intention, it as though he has not immersed himself at all.
So I'm wondering what special intention should one have?
@DoubleAA @Alex I second the motion to burninate contradiction. I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to find all questions whose form is expressing an apparent contradiction between two sources.
I have had difficulty with using tags correctly and effectively.
Allow me to give an example:
When asking a question about tefilla betzibbur, which tags should be employed? The tag tefillah-betzibbur describes this question perfectly, so ideally that would be the correct tag. However, the tefil...
@IsaacMoses Except for some evident cases I'm not perfectly familiar with the policy regarding on- and off-topic questions, so I'll mainly first see what the others do...
@Alex The main reasons to have a tag are to help people who want to people find questions in that category and (though often disregarded) to help set the context for the question.
Would anyone ever want to find a set of questions having to do with one thing contradicting another?
Assuming a kosher restaurant or a café that attracts significant quantity of non-Jewish customers, what is their policy on fast days?
Do they keep open? If so, what do they do with Jews, who have forgotten the fast for whatever reason? Aren't they misleading people? Is marit ayin an issue?
Shou...
A follow on from this question: I simply would like a listing of longest to shortest (or vice versa!) tractates in Yerushalmi by daf, ideally listing the number of daf/tractate.
@DoubleAA Contradictions are my favorite kind of questions. Which might explain the fact that more than 25% of contradiction questions are mine, as are a bunch of the answers to questions tagged such.
In some sense probably half the questions here are based in some kind of contradiction, be it two explicit sources or an expectation and a source or two expectations
