I was going to ask the following question (fleshed out) on MY: "The mishna in Eruvin says that when making a city-wide shituf mavu'os one must leave one building out: it doesn't participate in the shituf of food and one can't carry to or from it. How is this done with modern city eruvin? I've never heard of 'oh, that's the house you can't carry to'." But it's been a while since I learned mishnayos Eruvin and I can't find that mishna! Am I misremembering it? Does it not exist at all?

Q: Is the author of the Shu"t HaRidvaz the same one as the one known to be the rebbe of the Ariza"l?

I've heard that the Ariza"l was a talmid of the Ridvaz. I am wondering if it is the same person who authored the Shu"t HaRidvaz as I find that interesting since he seems to be someone that devoted his life to niglah rather than to nistar?
