I think the solution to our PTIJ problems is to disallow posting PTIJ questions during the second 1/6 of any minute (from xx:xx:11 through xx:xx:20): those have a lower score. We should encourage posting during the first 1/6 of each minute instead: those have a higher score. (data.stackexchange.com/judaism/query/462937)

I noticed that the Stack Exchange Hot Questions feed only comprises the 30 topmost HNQs rather than all 100. I wonder why that is and if there is a good reason for it, when the complete list isn't unhealthily large either with just 100 instead of 30.
I would thus hereby propose to extend the fee...
@msh210 Seriously, though, this is my main objection to setting a limit. I just don't see any correlation between more posts and lower score. I just see one user who posts a lot and also happens to have a low average score
@Daniel I had an informal chat with our most-prolific PT poster. He didn't realize how large a proportion he'd asked and he will pay more attention to volume in the future.
@Scimonster I don't know what that poster means, but in some contexts "blind" can mean "mostly but not totally blind". Like, in the US you're legally blind at 20/200, but that's still enough to see stuff (very blurrily). The top "E" on the eye chart is calibrated for 20/200 I think.
