Good Evening. While researching a related topic, I recently stumbled upon two websites (Chabad and OU) discussing astrology and Judaism. As odd as it may seem, astrology apparently is, in one form or another, part of Jewish thought. How it differs from non-Jewish practice of astrology is significant.

@Daniel It's like answering a question asking if pig is prohibited on Tuesdays with "Well if there is Pikuach Nefesh you can eat it". Almost-never-used exceptions are not very interesting to someone trying to understand the mindsets of actual people in actual situations.
