@ShmuelBrin there isnt a group of people which you can be called rambamists. no one calls themselves rambamists. just people who believe rambam is most authentic in holocho. however that doesnt mean everyone shares the same opinion on everything rambam says. also there isnt one place for all people of rambam to gather and discuss. therefore idk what the majority people say. but i know what i say and what @deuteronomy i think would say is that we should learn from our modern science
@ShmuelBrin and just because rambam said it doesnt mean it is 100% correct. that is why many people who follow rambam dont have a problem with saying rabonim or even chazal are wrong in certain things.

@msh210 :) the rambam would laugh at what he believed in if he lived in today's times. He would have it no other way

@ShmuelBrin Those chapters of Yesodei haTorah are of paramount importance (hence their placement in Yesodei haTorah). They tell us that we are supposed to go learn about science from whoever seems to know it the best.
The real question is what other possible way of explaining it is there?

Q: "Opps! Something Bad Happened" whenever I click a question

Steve P.SO is up and updating for me, but whenever I click a question, I get "Oops! Something Bad Happened!" screen. It says it's not my fault, but obviously this isn't happening to everyone since the site is still updating. What's going on?

Q: Going to any question on the site brings an error page

Benjamin GruenbaumI hope the staff can see this question, not sure if I will once I post. Update: This does not happen on meta, this happens in programmers, and in StackOverflow. Happens in meta-programmers too. If this helps you, here are the response headers. HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error Cache-Contro...

@ShmuelBrin Thanks.
It's cool that MSO isn't down.
Fixed. @ShmuelBrin
