@msh210 Usually, I wouldn't make such a minor edit. The reason I did it this time was that when I first read the title of that question it took me a bit to figure out what it meant. I've tried to make it more obvious to others.
and once I was there, I added some arbitrary capitalization :-)

@DoubleAA Just making sure you realized, so you weren't insulted, is all.
@HodofHod :-)

@HodofHod, Nice answer re: comparative religion questions. meta.judaism.stackexchange.com/a/858/2 I think you've got it right.

@IsaacMoses It's really just what I discussed with msh210
a couple of days ago in chat

@HodofHod Sorry I missed that one. In any case, it's well-formulated, reasonable, and convincing.

@IsaacMoses Thanks
@IsaacMoses I tried to make it fit with the questions we've (mostly) allowed so far.
@IsaacMoses btw did you happen to see that suggested edit on @alex's post?

@HodofHod That's a good guideline, but never fear to represent your own viewpoint of what ought to be.

A: Ceremony to take a woman as a concubine (pilegesh)?

AlexRambam (Hil. Melachim 4:4) states that a pilegesh (which, in his view, is permissible only to a king) enters into this status "without kesubah and without kiddushin; with yichud alone he acquires her and she becomes permitted to him."

@HodofHod I rejected it with a note saying "post your own answer."

@IsaacMoses I didn't know you could do that!
@IsaacMoses I haven't seen many suggested edits, though. they go fast

@HodofHod They do indeed. Many people have the ability to approve them.

@IsaacMoses B"h, it's good that we have that many avid users

@HodofHod If you click "Reject," you get to choose from among several canned reasons or to write your own custom reason

@IsaacMoses Ok, good to know. I think I've only ever dealt with one, and it was pretty good, so I approved it.

@HodofHod B"H
@HodofHod Would you like to try one? Wait a minute so I can go into Private Browsing and suggest one, and you can reject it.
...

@IsaacMoses Sure, thanks!

@HodofHod OK, there it is.

@IsaacMoses and 'delete' deletes the original post, too?

@HodofHod That sounds right.

@IsaacMoses I think my custom answer fits your suggestion

4:11 AM
@HodofHod I (in my incognito window) actually got no notice of your rejection. Maybe that only goes through for registered users.

@IsaacMoses Shucks!

... it just no longer shows me my edited version with the note "This will only be visible to you until peer-reviewed."

@IsaacMoses oh well.

@HodofHod, I'm a little lost. What suggested edit are you talking about?

@Alex I don't think it can be seen anymore. There was a rather extensive suggested addition to your post
the edit was about 5 times the size of the OP

@HodofHod was it interesting, at least?

@Alex Interesting, but belonged in its own answer certainly.

@HodofHod ok

Just out of curiosity, if I delete a post with upvotes, do those points go away?
What about if I delete a post with downvotes?

@ShmuelBrill I know if you delete a question with upvotes, you lose the points
