Sorry for the confusion.
When I switched builds, it must have been set to "console" :)
lazyPower
its all good :)
George Edison
Anyway... does it work now?
lazyPower
thats why we are debugging/testing right?
no, i see the console with no systray applet
or did you re-release it
George Edison
Did you uninstall the old version
after
you started it?
lazyPower
i killed it, cp-uninstall, rm -rf'd the dir and hten re-installed
cp-unisntall = control panel uninstall
George Edison
18:01
Right.
lazyPower
yeah i just did another clear and re-install with the same results
only a console window with no systray applet
George Edison
...and nothing in the console?
lazyPower
nothing in the console
George Edison
Hmmm...
lazyPower
ctrl-c caused some text and a closing of hte console window, let me find it and see whats going on with it
George Edison
18:03
Well... it probably just said something about a
KeyboardInterrupt
.
lazyPower
indeed
nothing helpful
C:\Program Files (x86)\StackApplet>stackapplet.exe
Traceback (most recent call last):

George Edison
That's so weird... it runs fine in Wine!
lazyPower
what winver?
i'm using 7, not sure if that makes a difference
George Edison
Oh, I'll try that.
lazyPower
when i get home from school i can try running it via wine as well
George Edison
18:14
I'm trying it under a new account now...
I can't reproduce. We'll have to continue this later.
Sorry I can't figure it out.
lazyPower
18:32
its ok, i'll be more available later on myself. I have tons on my todo list
maybe tomorrow evening?
George Edison
