@MartinR that is correct, at that time, mathjax is too slow to be used for query edit rendering. i think with mathjax v3, it is a different story.

now approach0 uses mathjax v3 for search results and katex for user typing. i could unify to use only mathjax though since katex is more or less inactive now.

Specifically: Can we search for posts on MSE from a certain user? (Sometimes I know that I posted something, but have problems to find it again.)

@MartinR there is no user information in the index now. I think it is a good idea to include the question author user id, but currently, I don't have time to further add it.
