@WeiZhong Actually it is currently impossible to add any math expression containing a comma. $\max(a, b)$ is a simple example demonstrating the problem. Is there any way to avoid the auto-transformation?
 
When I try searching for \max(a;b), the results include posts with commas. But this is a rather cumbersome workaround. (I'd guess that other things could be used instead of semicolon, too.)

@MartinR @MartinSleziak Thanks for reporting this issue. Indeed it is a newly introduced bug, I have just fixed it. Please refresh your browser page and test it again.
The comma issue is exactly the same bug you mentioned earlier (the thin space issue).

Great! This is the first time i edit my code directly and fix a bug online... my workstation is not available at this point..
the next a few days i will take a flight and get busy traveling and may not response promptly. but do leave message here if anything goes wrong.
