A search for $f(x+y) - f(x-y) = f(x)f(y)$ on Approach0 returns also results for $f(x+y) + f(x-y) = f(x)f(y)$. Is there any way to restrict the search to differences on the LHS of the equation?
Using \exact{-} does not work (no results found). I assume that “exact” is meant for identifiers only, not for operators.

@MartinR that is correct.
yes, a0 is trying to balance precision and recall, so it definitely will return an exact match at the top but may contain expressions with differences to some extent, as you point out in this example. There is no way to specify exact symbols for operators. It is a hard thing to implement given the model a0 is using.
