@Workaholic It is possible but I do not think I really want this, because parsing both double dollar and single dollar will be a little tricky, it is easy to introduce new bugs as far as I suspect. In fact, dollar wrapper in LaTeX has already been considered a bad design by a lot of people, it brings a lot headache to programmers. If this project is commercial I think I will implement this, but for now I care more about the elegance of my code.

Approach0 has a parser to extract TeX from Math SE, it uses an entire module of code to handle dollars (github.com/approach0/search-engine/blob/master/demo/crawler/…), but I have to code that because I need approach0 being able to handle as much content on Math SE. I personally do not want those ugly code with many corner cases to be introduced into approach0 WEB front end again.
