@P.E.Dant I doubt StoneyB would advise or recommend the use of quærent on ELL; even in his ELU comment he suggests more natural alternatives.

(It's a simple matter to searchv all comments...)
and I think his own use of the term in cooments to refer to questioners is equivalent to advice. at least I take it so.
Now, really, there must be more important issues at hand than my own or StoneyB's use of a word.
