OK, so like in DND, you won't necessarily know what an item scroll or potion is until you identify it

There's a few ways to do this

An easy way to tell whether something is cursed (bad) or uncursed/blessed (good) is to drop it in a corridor and see if your pet walks over it

Pets won't walk on cursed items
