@Richard Thanks. I'm still not sure I can judge on the content. Maybe I need to use a guitar for that. But at the very least, the answer in question is coherent. Maybe it's wrong, but it's not "not even wrong" as Physicists might say, and it may not be all wrong. As far as being one person's invention and not a widely known result, that's a criterion that I try to exclude when determining the value of an idea.
