Q: Adding in links for a new user

endorphI've just attempted to fix the links in an answer posted by a new user: https://music.stackexchange.com/a/58722/ I assume they can't post links because of the new user restrictions, so I edited their post to fix up the link markdown. However, this seems to have just removed the links from the...

10:32 AM
Those are beautiful!
Sometimes I fall asleep hoping to never have to go through that trouble again.
Sometimes I wake up ready to kick ass.
Most times I just fall asleep and wake up:
Live version, by a guitar genius who must've practiced in a closet:
(Hearing that version for the first time, seems not to be the best example of the genius I had in mind. Listen closer, little L.)
Definitely a repeat:
Steve Howe makes it look easier than it sounds.
And it doesn't sound easy.
Doesn't even look easy.

11:00 AM
I'm currently seeing where autoplay on YT takes me.

YT = Yesterday and Today? (oops, didn't see the link in time to prevent that typeburst)

Sure, that's when I used YouTube

Timestamped and acknowledged.
What does "mitzvah" really mean? I have a dictionary but would learn more from you, if you don't mind.

Literally? Commandment.
The way it's used? A good deed.

So much better than a book (coming from a publisher), thank you.

That makes you a primary witness.
And a suspect.
I suspect you are deeply pious. I am in my way too, but my bible-thumping grandmother told me that righteous acts are like filthy rags. What did she know? I try my best regardless.

I also suspect that you love a deep bass line. Earbuds are how music gets to you? I pictured anchored speakers.
(repeat)
(repeat repeat)
(time for breakfast again. delete me if I come back sassy as yesterday)
(much as I love notes and words, foodahol is what fuels me beyond control)

11:35 AM
@humn Well, at the moment it's playing from the built-in laptop speakers.
And if the house is empty I sometimes use this:

Ever had speakers that actually make you breathe?

Only times I've experienced that were in small cars.
Where low notes pump air in the way waves cross a small pond.
Right!!!

Oh, at a concert a couple times. Nearly blew my ears out.

C'mon internet interlace...
Right!!!
Frequencies that can puncture our ear drums aren't exactly the same as those that can throb our lungs, but sometimes too close for comfort.
Here's a piece (yes I'm on a Yes jag) that I whistle along to, to everyone listening's confusion:

11:52 AM
'Wurm' - makes me think of Smaug

(that's a looker-upper... found it. Yeah!)

(listening)

(this one might be better)

(and now typing:) That was soothing.

I also suspect all the more that you are crooner, Mithrandir. (I'm a bin banger but have a soft ear.)

Naaah, I really haven't been able to sing for the past few weeks, and I'm not super good when I can :P

Singers who brag about it oughta shut up.
Based on your selections, Mithrandir, you have a lovely ear (or two.)
If your voice comes anywhere near that level, sing out and ignore the witticisms.
When a car goes by with music so loud that curbside cans collapse, most people complain.
I just thank goodness that someone else loves music.

Don't make me go Led Zeppelin! (Brace yourself, I won't be able to help it soon.)

(catching up)
The one two back made me think of this headbanger:
hmph that must've been the short version
With an hour to spare ...
(Not expecting anyone to listen to that in a single helping. I learned it from a chanteuse who almost died in the process.)
(some quips just don't look right in retrospect, do they?)

12:42 PM
Got another link to share?

... pick a genre ...

Epic instrumental?
Isn't that what they do at Seaworld?

Before the law and Greenpeace catches up with them.

(barely treading water, but looking up a homonym)
(I'd trade my soul for a voice or hair like any of them.)

12:53 PM
(I'm listening to the Seaworld one, will take a little while - song's 25min)

(Same here. When time allows, the classic:)

1:14 PM
(How i miss the 60s!)

(I wasn't around in the 60s)

(I was in a tree with assorted nuts.)

(Life being unfair, we'll turn 60s again in just another 43 years.)
(Your music selections today are making me sentimental, Mithrandir!)

I was in an instrumental mood.

1:23 PM
Still catching up, but thinking ahead:
(And I very much appreciate your rhyme along "sentimental" and "instrumental"!)
Typing can be like playing together. Picking up on a hint here and there and then resounding.

(I like typing.)

Keyboardist! Caught in the act.
A crime of commission.

(try pressing keys)
(it only works in C)

(That's a tough link to follow, all my technical backguards have to be dismantled. Almost there, though, and know it will be worth it.)
Really? MIT? My match has met its match.
Maybe my match has met mine. I took down everything and the green flag just sits there.

yes, you press the green flag and then press buttons on your keyboard

1:37 PM
YEAH!!!!!
It's a harpsichord!

now hold space and press a key, it'll act as a pseudo broken sustain pedal

To quote a greatest president in recorded history: I hope my keystrokes aren't being recorded.

Nope. Although I'm considering it....

How do I get accidentals?
In any case, thank you for sharing that site and thank you for not recording what happens there.

have a couple spare hours?

1:46 PM
Doesn't work in these necks of the wood. Can probably find another way but don't tell anyone.
Along the way, same group as before:

That works, well! (Thank you for maiking it easy. I'm getting tired of fidgeting internet locks and jambs. )
(All I want to do anymore, it seems, is type and listen to music.) (And edit.)

You have a Tolkien Jones like I have a Yes Jones!

Well, as my avatar and username are tolkien... :)

I'm barely human, so I might have an idea

Nice follow!

2:45 PM
Mithrandir, keep up the music here but if you want to type along, join the fun at chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/168/the-overlook-hotel
