@DJMcMayhem I thought about zero too, but it's too similar to "one" to be a monad instead of a nilad. The only problem with loop is that it is used for decisions almost as often as looping.
Is there an easy way to check if a value is outside the range 48-53? I have a solution to codegolf.stackexchange.com/questions/101469/…, but it requires an error if the input isn't between 0 and 5.
I tried having a loop that subtracts 1 five time unless the value is 0. Then at the end if it's 0 it's in range, but I couldn't get that to work. I think that would be shorter than greater than and less than.
