@StefanKottwitz Fortunately, I've already bought it with a gift card (hence, for free) hahaha. BTW, I didn't forget the list of typos I promised you. Trust me, sooner or later I'll send it to you :):):)
@barbarabeeton Looking at tug.org/mailman/listinfo/edutex and the link below about edutex (tug.org/edutex) i get a 404. If you see the same, would you mind forwarding to the person in charge?
@PauloCereda I had problems (strange fragmentations, freezing of kernel, mounting refused) with it during my last install some months ago, so I killed the partitions and used good old ext4 again
@PauloCereda Well, I had no time to figure out the reasons (tried on two disks, an older one and a completely new one) -- I was unsatisfied with BTRFS and dropped it.
@ChristianHupfer Interesting, I might stick with EXT4 when I reinstall everything here at some point (I won't dare doing that right now). I remember when my OpenSolaris had ZFS, it seems to be a very nice but underrated FS.
I've seen methods to add the date of birth to a moderncv document class, but they all seem extremely unnecessarily cumbersome to achieve such an easy thing.
Right now, I'm using \moderncvstyle{casual}.
Anyone sufficiently expert on Latex (and moderncv) to give me a simple way to add "date of birth" which stays as close as possible to my name in the personal data?
@PauloCereda Underrated because OpenSolaris has/had a relatively small number of installations, if I remember correctly. I never used it. I was fed up with the usual Solaris on Sun Sparc Workstations from 2000 to 2006 at my former institute
@barbarabeeton Thank you, you've got mail as well.
@nbro It does seem like an easy job, but modifying a template to do what you want is an extremely stressful thing. That is just one reason i don't like templates.

It suddenly stopped working, I didn't change anything about the TeX installation (or any installation for that matter). The problem is that it jumps to random places in the PDF, and this happens for any document that I'm viewing
