@Razetime It didn't (couldn't figure out how to translate the escape codes there to something that V could understand), but instead I figured out how to use registers in macros, so that's fun :)

Thanks! I started out looking for challenges I could do in Notepad++; that one was a little too much for N++ to handle, so the obvious solution was to switch to Vim.

I don't think it is. You can't do recursive macros, so I doubt there's a way to loop.
