Ugh, my parent's are like "You need to practice more, etc."

And then my mom's like "I used to know a friend who would practice the violin for four hours! Professionals players practice eight hours a day!" And then I'm trying to explain that each instrument is different and that a trumpet is so much more exhausting to try to play for longer periods of time and then my parents say I'm making excuses

Sooooo I'm getting lectured by someone who quit piano after 4 lessons and someone who doesn't play an instrument telling me how much I should be practicing. Makes sense. Asian parents 11/10`
