@LuisMendo So imerode is basically original * ~conv2(~original, ones(3), 'same')
It's basically the min operation for each neighborhood
I think that it makes the most sense to include the pair if you include one of them

Yes, specially the plotting with a marker and a size will be verbose
In my Matlab and Numpy implementations I used broadcasting to avoid iterating on r or x
So the only necessary loop would be on k

@Suever 0:.01:1 is one byte shorter. Also, do you really need the meshgrid? Broadcasting should do
