Q: How many soldiers were in Winterfell before king Robert came?

KreannHow many soldiers lived o were stationed in Winterfell on a regular basis before king Robert came (meaning, before the beginning of the series)? I don't mean how many Ned Stark gathered for the event of king Robert coming. Or how many total he could have gathered if he had called his bannermen. ...

Q: do white walkers swim? If no how was dragon resurfaced by them?

Nitesh One thing I don't understand is that if the white walkers and the dead cannot swim how did they manage to resurface the dragon from water?

I know that the one sure-fire way (no pun intended) to prevent reanimation is to burn the body. Bury...

Q: Why did the White Walkers ignore Sam?

BhautikAt the end of season two, Samwell Tarly is engulfed by a swarm of White Walkers and wights, indicating that winter is well on the way to Westeros. It’s a powerful scene, and it’s great to see it through the eyes of a character we know and love, but there is no apparent reason why none of the zomb...
