I wish people left more comments on meta. I'm getting down votes and not sure why... again. How the hell can I improve if people don't explain what is wrong.

Dunno... I think some people downvote to be weird... I get DVs on my answers, too and I haven't figured out why.

i think it happens to everyone, sometimes for no good reason! maybe we'll have to lay down the law on this stack to eliminate any naughty behaviour :3

i notice on other stacks that there's all sorts of protocols...i don't envy the moderators!

I spend enough time on Meta.SE to know that downvoting without comment is rampant everywhere and not something can (or even should) be "fixed"... It's one thing to aspire to but not to get too caught up on.

I get DV'd on other stacks. I just think it is more important now with this sites inception. With all the potential issue we are going to have DV without justification is not helpful. NOthing we can do about though really as voting is always going to be anonymous (which is fine.)

It'll always be that way. It's least helpful if it's a DV on a meta answer with no other answers, since it doesn't help shape an alternative.
