@Rahul interesting the elevator pitch meme. Lots of folk asked me what stackexchange was. I said "a social forum where experts of particular subjects offer advice on questions posed by users "; I can't think of a more succinct way if describing SE. can you?

It's a Q&A site for UX experts. You could optionally also talk about how there are extrinsic incentives (points/badges) used to get you addicted and reward you for spending time
