@pojo-guy - How well stated that was. Metaphorical Kenya. I hear you. Thanks.

I just want to draw attention again to my question about old, closed and unanswered questions, that I asked more than 4 months ago. There was almost no feedback (1 answer - written by me, and two comments (by mods)). I was told to wait for community input. The HNQ posts brought people to meta, but this had no positive effect on my question(s).
No feedback, not even clicks are some kind of feedback, though. Although the question's title is descriptive, it didn't attract attention. What does that tell us about the community's stance on closed, unanswered questions?

@AnneDaunted I think it tells us that the community as a whole doesn't have an opinion on the matter one way or the other. I know that's not a satisfactory answer, but it's one answer. The other, as you well know, is that the community isn't very active on meta. I think the HNQ opt-out question demonstrates that.

@anongoodnurse It would probably have gotten more attention on other stacks, but it still got a lot by our standards. And it demonstrated that people do find their way to meta.
But I wonder what the community's indifference towards many (most) questions means for us. Does it paralyze us, because we need community input and if we don't get it, we can't do anything (except for deleting spam, casting close votes, asking, answering, editing)?
Here's a post from a CM on another stack's meta about the fate of closed questions.
