@RohitSinghRathore 5 of the attachments are actual email attachments, the other 5 are Google Drive links.

@Tezz I just posted a question related to the Skanda Purana chapter I showed you:
0
Q: Who is the current moon god, Soma son of Atri or Tvisiman son of Dharma?

Keshav SrinivasanThis excerpt from the Anusanga Pada of the Brahmanda Purana describes the gods of the different planets and the Nakshatras they were born in in the present Vaivasvata Manvantara. In particular, it says this: Tvisiman, the son of Dharma, the lord moon god, the son of Vasu, the cool-rayed caus...

Got it thanks @KeshavSrinivasan btw,i don't understand Sanskrit some texts are in Sanskrit.

@RohitSinghRathore Oh, which ones are purely in Sanskrit?

I've to look again as I didn't download but I downloaded non Sanskrit texts. @KeshavSrinivasan

4:58 AM
@RohitSinghRathore I think there are some that contain both Sanskrit and English.

@KeshavSrinivasan English is not much used. -_- I think in 1st & 2nd link.

@RohitSinghRathore You mean the ones by K.C. Pandey?

Wait, I'm downloading again. Will tell you then after.
What do you think about this Muslim claim? @KeshavSrinivasan @Tezz @SreeCharan @SwiftPushkar @anuvaramban @TheDestroyer quora.com/Is-it-allowed-to-have-sex-slaves-in-Hinduism
Yes @KeshavSrinivasan K.C Pandey

@RohitSinghRathore OK, the K.C. Pander book is a multi-volume book. If I remember only one of the volumes contains the English translation.
@RohitSinghRathore I just did a search in my computer for Ishwara Pratyabhijna and then I emailed you all the books that I found on my hard drive.

Yes. I still have to go through so the links. @KeshavSrinivasan it's okay. Many texts are helpful as well.

5:07 AM
@RohitSinghRathore I think wrong translations. The word "dasi" is mistranslated as "Slave" in Puranas and Mahabharta. I think i can refute his answer (Puranic portions).

@RohitSinghRathore The scriptural passages quoted in that post just discuss female servants, they don't discuss anything inappropriate.

Yes, you should answer there on Quora with strong refutations. Mention his name there as well.
@TheDestroyer
But question asked was on sex slaves @KeshavSrinivasan

@RohitSinghRathore Ok. But I stopped using Quora and it is becoming nonsense.

He quoted this -
‘Raikva, there are a thousand cows, a necklace, a carriage with mules, this wife, and this village in which you dwellest. Sir, teach me!’
Then considering her (the princess) as the door for imparting knowledge, Raikva said:
“O Sudra! You brought these cows and other presents; this is good. But you will make me speak now only through this means (i.e. the princess).” [Chandogya 4/2/5]
This incident proves that women were gifted just like other animals and the so-called priests yearned them badly.

@RohitSinghRathore A king giving a man his daughter's hand in marriage has nothing to do with slavery. Arranged marriage is not slavery.

5:11 AM
@RohitSinghRathore They are maid servants not slaves. He is seeing world with eyes of Islam. Islam allows sex Slaves . Hinduism doesn't.

@RohitSinghRathore - They always misguided people by intensionally misinterpreting our scriptures , like Dasi , Paricharika doesn't always mean female slaves ,or forced labour , Daas means the worker who is dedicated to someone , it's similar to modern bond in jobs.

@TheDestroyer By the way, Islam strangely only allows Muslims to enslave non-Muslims.

Yes @TheDestroyer Quora seems pseudo intellectual to me as well. Yes I know I've read an answer here on this. As @TheDestroyer has pointed he is looking Hinduism with eyes of Islam. @KeshavSrinivasan

@TheDestroyer I guess they treat their own people better than others.

@KeshavSrinivasan yeah. that's obvious. What else can we expect.

5:12 AM
Yes Islam does @KeshavSrinivasan

@KeshavSrinivasan No. Not now at all. Many India Muslims go to Saudi Arabia and poor Muslims are treated badly. Pakistanis who feel they are Arab descendants, don't even get iota of respect in Arab Countries.
@RohitSinghRathore Quora is becoming worse now-a-days. Most of users who write answers there just know English and nothing else, except very few people like Balaji Vishwanath. It's like mini facebook, the girl with beautiful dp gets more views and upvotes, even when she writes nonsense.

@RohitSinghRathore There is similar question on our site too.

Q: Was slavery allowed in Mahabarata times?

WallyI found this. Yudhishthira supporteth eighty-eight thousand Snataka Brahmanas leading domestic lives, giving unto each of them thirty slave-girls. Source: The Mahabharata, Book 2: Sabha Parva: Sisupala-badha Parva: Section XLVIII And thus the Emperor of Indra-prastha and his family were...

@TheDestroyer @Tezz @SreeCharan @Pandya @RohitSinghRathore @KeshavSrinivasan - Check out this channel of devotional songs on you- tube.It has very excellent fusion music songs and mantras.The name of the channel is Strumm devotional

There is no compulsion that Slaves = sex slaves @RohitSinghRathore

5:25 AM
@SwiftPushkar Good but it's not peaceful.
I listen to this which is very peaceful.

@TheDestroyer Quora is no more an authentic site. You can write what ever you like. You will get upvotes.

@SwiftPushkar But i still like songs from Annamayya Telugu movie than these videos.

@TheDestroyer The songs in the movie are incomplete. So I prefer other videos.
Here is another joke. There is a quora answer which says, Draupadi shared bed only with Arjuna and it gets 17 upvotes. XD.

@SreeCharan But i think Keeravani's music makes them good for me.

5:40 AM
@TheDestroyer - Yes , you are correct , they are bit loud ,but they are with FUSION music , the purpose of such a music is to attract young audience who like such music,😊👍

Yes @TheDestroyer @SreeCharan I also don't use Quora.

@TheDestroyer - ok ,I haven't watched the movie but have sern the song , where vishnu appears and he sings for him in temple😊💐

@SwiftPushkar Which song? Antaryami song?

@TheDestroyer - I think the song at the end , it was posted here , a old movie 😊

6:06 AM
@SwiftPushkar ^^ song is in the end. Podagantimayya(the one you posted) is in the middle of the movie.

@SreeCharan - ohh , ok 😊👍👍

@KrishnShweta I take refuge of the auspicious feet of Nathamuni.
Taking refuge at the Nathamuni's feet is the only way.
@KrishnShweta ^^

Which way?

@KrishnShweta ONly way to attain salvation (by following his teachings)

Oh!! OK.

Tiruvadigal means feet
sharanam has the same meaning in telugu.

7:57 AM
@SreeCharan Is it Sanskrit word or any other?

@KrishnShweta Tamil

Okay.

@RohitSinghRathore Quora is struggling to become an intellectual peer at the level of the stack network IMHO - there are no set standards on referencing answers with credible sources and translations, opinionated answers are not pruned away since there is no concept of systematic topical moderation just to name a couple of things that are sorely needed to change there. Honestly, H.SE & other SEs are serving as Oases for the intellectually parched in the polemical desert that is the Internet.

2 hours later…
12:13 PM
@SreeCharan haha.

@anuvaramban True. That's the reason I joined SE network.

12:42 PM
@anuvaramban your English is very mature.

12:58 PM
@SreeCharan ☺
@RohitSinghRathore 🙏🏾
@SreeCharan lol the emoticon fizzed out in copying

@anuvaramban To be frank, It takes time in understanding your english sometimes.

@SreeCharan ROFL, that's a complinsult! :P

@anuvaramban yes. its unpossibel. :P

3:09 PM
@Tezz I just posted another question about that astronomical test.

3:22 PM
@Tezz Is this translation error?
अथायान्तं महाकालं त्रिनेत्र सर्वकुण्डलम्।
Thereafter the three eyed Siva, having the serpents as the earrings
Why Sarvakundalam is translated as serpents as earrings.
A questions is also asked on our site

Q: Why Lord Shiva has two scorpions on his ears?

kmlchhtrThere are two scorpions on the ears of lord Shiva. Who they are & who cursed them? I would be obliged if you could answer my query and this is my first attempt.

@TheDestroyer I've never heard of Shiva wearing scorpion earrings. Vishnu wears shark earrings though.
@Tezz Sorry, I forgot to post the link:

Q: What scriptures describe night being caused by mount Meru?

Keshav SrinivasanLalla's Shishyavriddhida Tantra is a Hindu astronomical work dating to the 8th century. In this chapter of the Shishyavriddhida Tantra, Lalla attempts to refute various astronomical theories he regards as false. Most of the theories he tries to refute are ones found in Hindu scripture: the theo...

@KeshavSrinivasan translator translates it as Shiva wearing Scorpion earrings.
I think it is spelling mistake. I think it is Sarpa Kundalam instead of Sarva kundalam.

@TheDestroyer I thought Sarpa means snake.

1 hour later…
4:43 PM
@KeshavSrinivasan I think it is sarpa not sarva.

4:59 PM
@TheDestroyer OK, but does either Sarpa or Sarva mean scorpion?

@KeshavSrinivasan Verse says athāyāntaṃ mahākālaṃ trinetra sarvakuṇḍalam।
In devanagari, सर्व is sarva and सर्प means sarpa. So, i was saying, it could be typo mistake.
I think "प pa" is printed as "व va". Yes, Sarpa means snake.

6 hours later…
11:27 PM
@TheDestroyer yes, I also think it's sarpakundalam... and means 'who wears snakes and Kundalas'... btw from where did you get that verse... ?...
