4:34 AM
@ChinmayaB JaiSreemannarayana!!! Congrats on the 50th answer.
What was your parents reaction when you said you would perform initiation?

1 hour later…
5:57 AM
@SreeCharan No, I haven't, at least not yet.
@SreeCharan It took place in a cave in Thirukoyilur near the Ulagalantha Perumal temple.
@SreeCharan In fact, a big part of the story is that the cave was so small that it only had space for one person to lie down, two people to sit, or three people to stand. And yet Vishnu entered that space as a fourth person.

6:41 AM
@KeshavSrinivasan To Vishnu, what is impossible?
@KeshavSrinivasan yes. I have heard it. But Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy said that it took in ashram of Mrukandu maharshi(father of sage markandeya) .
Oruvar padukkalaam , iruvar amaralaam, Moovar nirkalaam. @KeshavSrinivasan

@SreeCharan Yeah, that's the point, it was a space too small for a fourth person, and yet Vishnu was able to fit for nothing is impossible for him.
@SreeCharan Perhaps Mrikandu had his Ashram in Thirukoyilur, and there was a cave there.

@KeshavSrinivasan Did you watch the video?
@KeshavSrinivasan He clearly said his ashram was vacant. In the other video too, it was mentioned that there was a narrow corridor of an ashram.
I started to listen to Velukkudi Krishnan swamy's discourses. Unfortunately, there are only few videos available in english. Rest of them are tamil. I could only understand some part of his tamil discourses. @KeshavSrinivasan

7:25 AM
@SreeCharan If there's anything in the Tamil discourses that you don't understand but are interested in, just tell me and I can translate.
@SreeCharan By the way, some other popular Sri Vaishnava lecturers are Dushyanth Sridhar and Karunakarachariar. They're both Vadakalais.

@KeshavSrinivasan Sure. BTW, I have made changes to my profile. See here. @SwiftPushkar

Who composed the verse "yad śruti smṛti sutrāṇāṃ antarjvaramaśīśayat |
tyajīyāt yatirājo'si rāmānuja divākaraḥ ||"? I've never heard of it.

@KeshavSrinivasan I heard it in a movie intro Ramanuja. It says it is written by erumbi appa the shishya of Manavala mamunigal. The first verses are PunyAmbhoja vikAsaya ApathbhAndashayAya cha Sriman avirabhoot bhoomau rAmAnuja divAkarah..

@SreeCharan - I think the link is not working , what changes you made , i will check ur user profile :) ohh ok

@SwiftPushkar I added a verse about Bhagavad Ramanujacharya and about profile picture.

7:36 AM
@SreeCharan - यद् श्रुति स्मृति सूत्राणां अन्तर्ज्वरमशीशयत् |
त्यजीयात् यतिराजोऽसि रामानुज दिवाकरः||

yad śruti smṛti sūtrāṇāṃ antarjvaramaśīśayat |
tyajīyāt yatirājo'si rāmānuja divākaraḥ ||

The fever(jvaram) for shruti(vedas,upanishads), smriti(gita, puranas), brahmasutra was cured buy a sun called Rāmānuja. ... Yes nice one , i think there is one story in puranas of sun god decreasing its power , so as to reduce fever of all the jivas.

@SwiftPushkar Yupp. That is the one.
@KeshavSrinivasan You can find the audio here.

7:59 AM
@SreeCharan @KeshavSrinivasan - How much Vyuha forms of lord Vishnu are there 4 or 9 , i know four ( Narayana , sankarshana , pradyumna , Aniruddha )

@SreeCharan Jai Shriman Narayana
How do you get all this q/a statistics ??

@ChinmayaB @TheDestroyer - Namaskaram :)

@SreeCharan My parents are liberal and they don't force me to do something but they condemn my strict policies against other gods and especially to gurus like Shirdi Sai baba
My mother is an adherent devotee of his and I refuse him or his authority so she gets angry and tells me to shut up, also I don't visit Sai temple and she wants me to Visit Sai mandir after exams and stuff.

@SwiftPushkar Namaskaram!

Whenever I come up with Nishkam karma my parents feel disgusted they are preety much into the Pancayatan system setup by Adi Shankaracharya.
@SreeCharan'
@Sw

8:04 AM
@ChinmayaB disgusted?

@SwiftPushkar Nmao Narayana Namaskaram
@TheDestroyer Yeah they don't have points to oppose me so they just tell me to keep my mouth shut and don't deny authority of other gods and stuff like that.
Thats why they sometimes have disgusted feelings towards me
@SwiftPushkar Kasa kay?

@ChinmayaB - Yes , Nmao Narayana , "they just tell me to keep my mouth shut and don't deny authority of other gods and stuff like that." --- haha , pretty much same in all the homes , in my home too ... there is one saying in Marathi "GHARO GHARI MATICHYA CHULI" ie. the situations in all the homes is same. all the families are same.

@SreeCharan You didn't answer my question, about Rahasyatraya sara and Sri Vachana Bhusanam
@SwiftPushkar Ho kharay Gharo Ghari Matichya chuli , they are even against my food etiquettes(no onion garlic) and stuff

@ChinmayaB haha EKDAM MAST , TUZE KASE KAI CHALLE AAHE :)

@ChinmayaB From my experience, people who believe in one God as true or who demeans other Gods (actually attributes of same god whom they worship) tend to go fanatic. No Offence by the way! How can one develop feelings of compassion and love when they voluntarily demean other Gods or attributes? I suggest you to read Upansihads or Vedas under a Guru and decide yourself. BTW, don't force your parents. They have bhakthi. Bhakti is far superior than some logic.

8:09 AM
@SwiftPushkar Bas Hari Krupta aahe

@ChinmayaB Whatever philosophies, they can never take you to toe of Supreme Brahman.

@TheDestroyer There should be a direction to bhakti Sattva, Rajas, and tamas I don't abuse or offend any gods or stuff even I bow down to shiva's antaryami narayana when I recite Sri rama rameti rameti Rame rame mano rame....
@TheDestroyer and I reject and condemn Bhakti towards Shirdi Sai

@ChinmayaB Satva, Rajas and Tamas are decided by one's behavior. You don't become Tamasic by worshiping one God. Sai Baba never said to worship him. You should know difference between "Sai Teachings" and "his followers words".

@TheDestroyer Well whatever it is I don't believe him, and I don't think Islam and Hinduism have a connecting point.
like he said
@TheDestroyer If you eat human meat drink Liquor continuously in the name of worship of any god then you will for sure become Tamasic, please don't mind if you worship any one of them(you know where I am pointing)

@ChinmayaB Cherrypicking verses is dangerous and this has been happenning for many generations. I never said Islam and Hinduism has connection. I just revere Sai as Good saint and his devotees wishes are fulfilled (you can't even deny it and it's true). We just don't have Sastra pramana and Hinduism can't accept it as it lacks Sastra pramana.

8:19 AM
@TheDestroyer Well I didn't cherrypicked any thing, I just pointed out one of the anomalies in his words which so called devotees revere. I am saying worshipping such false doctrine and following it is really dangerous.

@ChinmayaB Understand things with context. Understanding things without context is very dangerous. Kala bhairava drinks liquor. Shiva drank Poison. Does that mean every Shiva devotee should drink poison? Also, see Suble form of "Madya".

@TheDestroyer Well I am saying what these tantric do in the name of yoga and worship illicit sex and stuff.

@ChinmayaB Cherrypicking verses in Vedas by some philosophers to prove their Ista Deva as Supreme. People worship each "attribute" as Supreme. Nothing bad is happenning or none of them were objectively proven wrong.
@ChinmayaB You are thinking like conservative. Again, don't blame tantra for that. Blame those who misuse tantra. Science can be both used properly and misused. So, do you blame Science for that?

@TheDestroyer I am saying tantric not tantra or shaiva or shakta agamas. In any case these agamas are rejected by Alvandar aka Bhagwad Yamunacharya in his works as they are inconsistent with vedas.
@TheDestroyer Even Adi Shankaracharya disproves of their authority to guarantee moksha.
So there is no meaning in following them rather use Upanishads for Bhakti yoga
and Meditate on 32 Bramha Vidyas

@ChinmayaB Even Vishnava Agamas are rejected by Adishankara as they are inconsistent with Vedas. Can you give proof that your philosophy can grant Moksha? No. Belief is important here. Same is the case with Tantra. Great Philosophers like Shankara, Ramanuja have their own views on their own interpretation. Why only sticking to them? Why can't we try to understand on our own.

8:28 AM
@TheDestroyer Yes I can give you prove from Adi Shankaracharyas commentary itself he says that although I reject these agamas meditations mentioned in those agamas will lead to moksha
@TheDestroyer Fighting aside
What is the Tirupati Mokku experience you mentioned in a question here?

@ChinmayaB You can follow Bhakti Yoga. No one will stop you. But don't demean or say some philosophy is false as simply a philosopher believed like that. Know about Tantra. There is lot of science in it.
@ChinmayaB Actually. We must try to get good from all philosophies. Sticking to any philosophy is dangerous. If we stick to one such philosophy, we become narrow minded which will become hindrance with Sipritual growth. What's use in showing love for Lord when we demean others with no proper logic and conclusion.

@TheDestroyer I am undecided on chakra science
mostly skeptical

@ChinmayaB That was asked in my initial stages.

Yeah as Anil Kumar :D
@TheDestroyer

@ChinmayaB ok. Not only chakras.

8:37 AM
@TheDestroyer In anycase If agamas contradict Shrutis I will condemn even Pancharatra Agamas

@ChinmayaB I have seen commentaries of Vaishnava Acharyas. They cherrypicked Verses from Vedas and Upanishads which only highlight Narayana. Not even a single verse is there from Sri Rudra, which is from Samhita. Even there are verses of Indra which say as Supreme Brahman. Later, they interpreted Sri Rudram using Antaryami concept after declaring Vishnu as supreme by cherrypicking verses.

@TheDestroyer I take good points from all the vedanta Philosophies Dwaita Advatita and Vishitadvaita Like I take Syanacharyas commentary on Vedas as it is. I follow Vishitadvaita because it suits my mind and gives me mental peace.
@TheDestroyer here is one of the Vaishnava commentaries on Sri Rudram narayanastra.blogspot.in/p/blog-page_7196.html

Dighanakha asked the Buddha, "Gautama, what is your teaching? What are your doctrines? For my own part, I dislike all doctrines and theories. I don’t subscribe to any at all."

The Buddha smiled and asked, "Do you subscribe to your doctrine of not following any doctrines? Do you believe in your doctrine of not-believing?"

Somewhat taken aback, Dighanakha replied, "Gautama, whether I believe or don’t believe is of no importance."

The Buddha spoke gently, "Once a person is caught by belief in a doctrine, he loses all his freedom. When one becomes dogmatic, he believes his doctrine is the on
@ChinmayaB @TheDestroyer @all... ^^^ interesting story...

@ChinmayaB They are very rude and narrowminded. See comment sections how they rebuke others.

@TheDestroyer Ignore that and read the commentary , or just ignore it totally.
You asked for Vaishnva commentary on Sri Rudram I gave you

8:43 AM
@ChinmayaB Let's assume there are no philosphies on Earth. And you heard Vedas in deep mediation. How do you understand them?

@TheDestroyer I am no one to comment on vedas, I haven't completed my vedic sutdies
@TheDestroyer What do you mean how do you understand them???

@ChinmayaB I didn't ask Sri Rudram commentary. I expected forehand how they interpret it. And they interpreted in the same way.

@TheDestroyer Btw I accidently or by grace of lord meditated on a bramhavidya

@ChinmayaB assume you are the one to hear Vedas in transcendental meditation.
@ChinmayaB good.

@TheDestroyer I cant because I am not really on that stage

8:49 AM
@ChinmayaB Yeah. No one in kaliyuga can be like that. But we can assume a sage in that state will just know the truth. He doesn't think only Adviata or Visistadvaita or some random theory as only true.
@Tezz Very true.

@TheDestroyer Well I think since he had Pratyaksha darshan of the Nyaya(philosophy/world view) he will propagate his experience as it is pratayksha pramana Bhagwad Yamunacharya says pratyaksha is the truth and no matter what you should believe in pratakshya.

@Tezz Detachement should be given importance. We shouldn't get attached to anything expect truth or God. (Even attachment to philosophy is kind of attachement).

@Tezz Thanks for that I will read it but from Destroyers comments I disagree about Attachment to Philosophy.
@TheDestroyer The Sage who attained that Height in Meditation will have a guru and his world view would be set by that guru and ultimately his guru parampara upto Bramhan (Shriman Narayana).

@ChinmayaB That is not Pratyaksha Praman. Pratyaksha pramana involves sense organs but his vision is beond sense organs.

@ChinmayaB anyway read it... 😀😀

8:57 AM
@ChinmayaB For the first time? I don't think he was given name like Narayana.
@ChinmayaB No where in Vedas it says Vedas were given by Srimanaaraya (No explicit verses can be found with attribute Narayana).
@ChinmayaB Even Vedas says Supreme Brahman creates Universe by referring Vedas.
@ChinmayaB That's what i said, cherrypicking is dangerous.

@ChinmayaB Sorry for the late reply. No.

@SreeCharan No worries
@TheDestroyer Good Point I will try to prove my point
Regarding Supremacy of Shriman Naryana
@TheDestroyer I disagree Supreme Bramhan Doesn't need any manual to create Universe refer Purusha Suktam
You are talking like a Pashupata who believes in Ishwara prakriti Doctrine
@Tezz Okay :D

@ChinmayaB My point is not to demean supremacy of Narayana. My point is Supreme Brahman is described with different attributes. Few such attributes are "Vishnum", "Shivam"... And remember Sanskrit doesn't have proper nouns. Sanskrit itself is derived from vedas.

@TheDestroyer Narayana is Proper noun, Vishnu means all pervading clearly bramhan
Shiva means kalyana

@ChinmayaB There is vedic Verse. I'm not saying on my own. Swami Prabhavanada says in Spiritual heritage of India. Let me give the verse.
@ChinmayaB no. Every Sanskrit word denotes attributes only. By frequent use, it becomes proper noun.
@ChinmayaB Narayana has meaning.

9:11 AM
Hello, I would like to ask what you think the best English translation of the principal Upanisads is, thanks.

@TheDestroyer Panini accepted that Narayana is Perfect Noun

@ChinmayaB This is the very fundamental aspect of Sanskrit. Even people propose there exists a language called PIE (Proto Indo European language) which is predecessor of Sanskrit which is utter crap.

@ChinmayaB Yes. It is noun. But it is also Attribute.
it is attribute first and noun later.
Sanskrit is language of Attributes. It doesn't have proper nouns.

@TheDestroyer Proper Noun and yeah it has attributes according to Vishitadvaita even Bramhan has attributes
@TheDestroyer Well I am not grammer wizard! I will believe panini

9:13 AM
@ChinmayaB To understand Sanskrit better, we must know Verb Roots of a word with proper context and Grammar.
@ChinmayaB I suggest you to read basics of Sanskrit.

@JasperLoy I can't say best... but I read it... google.com/…

@TheDestroyer Okay but I find grammer difficiult I just recite verses and later on find out its proper meaning.

@JasperLoy Please don't mind. Are you from india or out of India?

@ChinmayaB Supar + Nakha = Suparnakha ... here also न changes into ण ... but it is an attribute to those who have long nail...

@TheDestroyer Do you study sanskrit ?

9:15 AM
@TheDestroyer If the names are attributes, we cannot worship god. They are also names.

@TheDestroyer I have never gone to India. I speak English.

Similarly Uttarayana... Dakshinayana...

@Tezz Is it surpankha or surpanakha?

@ChinmayaB The spelling is grammar, not grammer.

@TheDestroyer Then sri rudram will not addressed to shiva.

9:16 AM
Yes. If "ra" follows "na", it changes to "Na".
@SreeCharan Yes. Sri Rudram is for Supreme Brahman.

@Tezz I see. I was thinking of getting the four volumes by Swami Nikhilananda actually.

@SreeCharan To whom Vedic verses are referred to are known through looking at Devata... but yes, it is also attribute...

@JasperLoy Again if you don't mind are you Hindu?

@ChinmayaB सुपर्णखा

@ChinmayaB No, I am Buddhist.

9:18 AM
@JasperLoy Theravada or Mahayana ?...

@TheDestroyer Then it could be Narayana.(lakshmipati) too.

@Tezz Okay btw I suppose you are a Jyotisha expert, is there a way to find out Varna or Shakha pravaras from Kundali
@JasperLoy Okay

@Tezz Theravada.

@JasperLoy Ok. Are you familiar with some Sanskrit terms, such as Karma, Dharma..? If yes, then it will be easy to understand.

@Tezz @ChinmayaB शूर्पणखा

9:19 AM
@TheDestroyer Well yes, these terms also occur in Buddhist texts.

Meaning the one with longer nails. That's why I hate long nails.

@Tezz I agree with @SreeCharan I have always heard Surpanakaha
@SreeCharan ROFL

@ChinmayaB I don't think there is way... The varna which which is derived in Jyotish is by looking Rashis.. and It doesn't have relation with family varna pravara...

@JasperLoy They are principal upanishads with Adi Shankara commentary.

9:20 AM
@JasperLoy Typo

@ChinmayaB why do you need it.. ? Don't you know your Pravara?...

@TheDestroyer This looks good so I am starring it.

@ChinmayaB I could be wrong...

@SreeCharan Yes. Narayana is also attribute of Brahman.

@TheDestroyer But brahman is attributeless [Nirguna]. How could he have attributes, character?

9:21 AM
Is it true that in India, some people consider Buddhism part of Hinduism?

@ChinmayaB but anyway.. name Narayana can also be used for other Gods... eg. See spatashati there Durga is referred as Narayani... also see Harivamsha in the section Yogamaya stuti... Lord Vishnu himself calls Narayani...

@SreeCharan Vishnum means one who pervades. See
[YajurVeda 4.5.7]

Salutations to him [Rudra] who is in canal water to him who is in streams. Salutations to him who is in water of a pool and to him who is in the water of a lake. Salutations to him who is in the water of river and to him who is in the water of the pond. Salutations to him who is in the water of well and to him who is in the water of spring. Salutations to him who is in the clouds and who

@TheDestroyer Antaryami.

@Tezz Yeah I don't know my pravaras
@TheDestroyer Yeah Vishnu means all pervading
that is the essential attribute or characteristic of Bramhan
@Tezz I know my pravara but I don't know any of the Kshatriya Pravaras

@JasperLoy Actually, at that time of Buddha, Hindus gave more importance to rituals than finding truth. Also, word "Aja"is interpeted differently. Some say it is animal and some say vegetable seed. So, people did animal sacrifices.

9:24 AM
@JasperLoy May I know why are you interested in Upanishads, since you are an atheist and it is theistic scripture

@ChinmayaB haha. Essential how? For other "Shivam" looks good as it means "auspicious"

@TheDestroyer THe one who pervades everything is bramhan
@TheDestroyer We are getting towards Vishnu V/S Shiva

@ChinmayaB Well, I thought maybe the Upanisads contain the truth, and I like to find the truth. Also, I don't consider myself theist or atheist, because these terms mean different things to different people, like the term God or god.

@Tezz Yes. Narayani is the sister of Narayana(vishnu). She was the one replaced with Krishna at nandavrajam.

@JasperLoy Buddha didn't like it and reject it. But teachings of Vedas are in consistent with teachings of Vedas. But later followers of Buddha distorted his teachings (Many Buddhists don't agree with it). Buddha is silent about existence of God. His silence was understood differently.

9:27 AM
@JasperLoy Basically a Buddhist is nastika and the one who doubts existence of Gods is an Atheist.

@ChinmayaB not existence of Gods.... but authority of Vedas...

@ChinmayaB Certainly, gods exist in Buddhism though, even if they did not create the world.

@ChinmayaB Buddha did talk of higher beings like Devas, Shakras, Mahabrahma...

@ChinmayaB No. I accepted Rudra is same as Narayana above, because both are attributes of Supreme Brahman. You are seeing them as different. Brahman is Sat chit Ananda.
Vishnum is also attribute of Brahman but Brahman is not defined by Vishnum attribute alone
He has infinite attributes thus infinite names. Thus Sahasranamas.

@ChinmayaB I also didn't know about my Pravara but Keshav told me in this chat room...

9:30 AM
@ChinmayaB No. Nastika means who reject authority of Vedas. This has nothing to do with God.

Thank you for your conversation. I am going to eat now. Maybe I will join you guys again some other time.

@TheDestroyer @Tezz Nastika -> Rejects authority of Vedas
Atheist -> doubts existence of gods
I used wrong word for Buddhist

@JasperLoy ok.

buddhists
@TheDestroyer I know buddha talks about Gods like Indra Dharma Raja etc

@SreeCharan Antaryami is Supreme Brahman. Why limiting him to only one attribute or few attributes?

9:33 AM
@JasperLoy where do you live.. ?..

@ChinmayaB If you don't know your pravara, how will you do abhivada in sandhyavandanam?
@TheDestroyer Who limited Brahman to few attributes?
@TheDestroyer BTW, antaryami is also an attribute.

@SreeCharan I just say abhivadaye kashyap gotro uptpannaha ashvalayana sutradhyayi rugvedahyayi chinmaya verma aham asmi bhoho

@SreeCharan You only. Antaryami is Vishnu or Narayana. Antaryami is the one who is "all pervading" or "attribute Narayana"
@SreeCharan Yes. Every word is attribute in Sanskrit. We must interpret based on context.

@TheDestroyer Auspicious attributes are infinite who says they are limited

@ChinmayaB From where inauspicious attributes came?

9:38 AM
@TheDestroyer Prakriti (Guna) but he dosen't endross or hold it
From Prkriti which is ultimately bramhan
@all Will talk to you later May Narayana bless yo ual l
you all

@ChinmayaB Just tell me what are inauspicious attributes and why did Supreme Brahman create them?

@TheDestroyer I don't have a proof but I think Bhagwan Created Inauspicious attributes from Gunas like Rajas tamas

@ChinmayaB what is your Gotra.. ? Isn't Pravara traceable from Gotra.. ?

@ChinmayaB Rajas and Tamas also came from Bhagavan.

@TheDestroyer That was the same question I asked some days ago.

9:40 AM
@Tezz Problem is Kshatriya pravaras are rajarishis

@ChinmayaB He is all. He even "pervades" inauspicious as he is "Vishnum"

@TheDestroyer Yeah so what, he doesn't endross bad qualities or inauspicious attributes

@SreeCharan Yes. My question too.

@TheDestroyer Yes indeed he is
@TheDestroyer Okay will talk to you later @SreeCharan @Tezz

@ChinmayaB Ok... Bye..

9:42 AM
@ChinmayaB Don't contradict yourself. You say he pervades all things and antaryami but same time you say he doesn't hold inauspicious things.
@ChinmayaB Ok. Bye!

@TheDestroyer According to advaita, brahman sees through maya then jiva is created. But it is not explained how is maya created and who sees and who he sees .
@ChinmayaB Jaisreemannarayana

@SreeCharan Don't think i'm targetting Visitaadvaita. Yes. Advaita doesn't give logical reason. It says Maya stops it. I think with limited intellect we can't find answer for that.
But i don't even subscribe to Advaita fully.

@SreeCharan "brahman sees through maya then jiva is created." .. I think it's opposite... when one sees through lens of Maya he assumes Brahamn as Jeeva..😀😀

@SreeCharan I just found more portions of Advaita logical.

@Tezz I didn't get it.

9:48 AM
@SreeCharan I am pretty sure with limited intellect we have always differences. Only after reaching state of deep tapasya, we can understand Vedas.
@SreeCharan Yes. It's Jiva's fault that he sees Brahman as Jiva through lens of Maya. In reality, Brahman doesn't create anything.
@SreeCharan Thus Advaitins says "Apparent creation" so that people can understand better.

@Tezz @TheDestroyer then how is a jiva created?

@SreeCharan jiva is not created. Jiva feels he is created due to Maya.

We are going in circles. :)

@SreeCharan No circle. very clear.
Creation is only from relative perspective. At absolute level, no creation.

@SreeCharan It can only be explained by realised person... but how can he explain.. here is what BrihadAranyaka Upanishad states:
"Because when there is duality, as it were, then one smells something, one sees something, one hears something, one speaks
something, one thinks something, one knows something. (But) when to the knower of Brahman everything has become the self, then what should one smell and through what, what should one see and through what, what should one hear and through what, what should one speak and through what, what should one think and through what, what should one know
@SreeCharan @TheDestroyer bye... talk to you latter...

9:52 AM
@SreeCharan @Tezz Ok Bye. Even i have to leave.

So to whom does the realised person has to explain?.. everything is him.. haha😀😀

@Tezz @TheDestroyer bye.

10:09 AM
@Tezz My location is a secret. I am afraid of people on spying on me.
@tezz At first I thought you were a girl called Tess, lol.

10:32 AM
@Tezz नमः॒ सोमा॑य च रु॒द्राय॑ च॒ नम॑स्ता॒म्राय॑ चारु॒णाय॑ च॒ नमः How to pronounce when there are underlines?

10:47 AM
@JasperLoy Oh ok.. Let it be...
@JasperLoy haha... lol...
@SreeCharan see my answer here:
15
A: Procedures used for preserving the integrity of the Vedas

TezzVery special procedures are applied to preserve Vedas. Here are some of them: 1) Divisional Protection: Veda Výas divides Veda at the end of Dwapar into Rig, Yajur and Sama so that it becomes suitable for men of Kaliyuga so that they can just study part of it as they do not have enough memory a...

I'm planning to start reading Brihadaranyaka.
@Tezz Excellent answer

11:42 AM
Is there a विश्व प्रकृति दिवस ?

4 hours later…
3:46 PM
@TheDestroyer I don't think I am contradicting, I said he is all pervading but that doesn't mean he has to endorse Inauspicious attributes. Even though he is creator of Naraka that doesn't mean he praises Naraka or endorses people to go to narka. Similar things with Rajasa/Tamasa and inauspicious attributes.
@SreeCharan Jai Shriman Narayana

4:02 PM
@ChinmayaB See the above Sri Rudram verse. He is everything. For you, canal water is inauspicious but Yajurveda says Brahman is in canal water. Endorsing is different. Visistadvaita says Brahman has only auspicious attributes.

4:21 PM
@TheDestroyer Yeah that is obvious rudra is not Bramhan and I know you will not agree but see purusha suktam in Krishna Yajurveda
@TheDestroyer Read Syayanacharya
commentary as well

@ChinmayaB By my previous JaiSreemannarayana, I meant bye.

@SreeCharan Yeah I understood

We don't say bye in our family. We say Jai Sreemannarayana.

I just acknowledged it by Proper prostarations to lord
@SreeCharan Okay

@ChinmayaB Veda Ninda. Ok. Stop discussion here.

4:29 PM
@TheDestroyer What Veda Ninda What are talking about

@ChinmayaB You declined Vedas. So, veda Ninda.

@TheDestroyer Syayanacharya and others clearly interpret it as Keeping away from rudra

@ChinmayB Do you know your vedashakha?

I didn't declined vedas I just interpreted it as a vaishnava
@SreeCharan Ashwalyana
RG veda
@TheDestroyer I mean keep rudras away from us humans as they harm us.

@ChinmayaB Whatever you call it. Who cares intepretation when Sanskrit verses of Veda clearly says Rudra is attribute of Brahman. Rudra is Brahman.

4:31 PM
@ChinmayaB Then it woild be easy to know the gotra pravaras.

@TheDestroyer thats your interpretation I can give you proofs from Syayanacharya's commentary

@ChinmayaB Chinamaya, this is what i call cherrypicking.
@ChinmayaB Sayanacharya commentary of what?

@TheDestroyer Whatever you name it I call it sattva
OF sri Rudram
or correct Interpretation of Sri Rudram

@ChinmayaB I read three commentaries of Sri Rudram with Sayanacharya commentary. Where does he say Rudra is not Brahman?
@ChinmayaB See you shouldn't say which suits you as Satva and others as Tamas and rajas.

@TheDestroyer I need time to prove this
@TheDestroyer Agama pramanya and other works of Bhagwad Yamunacharya clearly refutes this.
He says there is only one lord of World He is Shriman Naryana
@SreeCharan The problem is with Kshatriya gotras

4:35 PM
@ChinmayaB Ok. Search and show me where Sayanacharya says Rudra is not Brahman in Sri Rudra Bhashyam.

@TheDestroyer Not Sayanacharya I can prove you that Rudra is not bramhan

@ChinmayaB Don't bring Agamas. Let's see from Vedas. Agamas are sectarian. There are Shaiva Agamas also. And Veda is highest authority.

Syayanacharya says he is not Satvana pati

@ChinmayaB Then why did you say Sayanacharya?

@TheDestroyer Yeah Lets do it the shruti way

4:36 PM
@ChinmayaB Read Rudram Verses.
You will know. Rudram is from Samhita. Samhita is core portion of Vedas.
Rudra is one attribute of Brahman. If you consider it as noun, Rudra is Brahman.

@TheDestroyer Purusha Suktam is from Samhitas as well it is in all Samhitas of vedas if that isnt enough
See Krishna Yajurvedic Purusha Suktam with Uttar narayana
Vedaham etam purusham Mahaaanta
Mahaantam
.......

@ChinmayaB Does Purusha Suktam name Narayana?

@TheDestroyer Yeah Krishna Yajurveda

I think it just mentions Purusha.

No You are wron g
Wrong
Here is the Interpretation of Purusha Suktam ramanuja.org/purusha/sukta-intro.html @TheDestroyer

4:40 PM
Ok. Anyways, i agree Narayana as Brahman or attribute of Brahman. It doesn't matter what attribute is. But you can't say Rudra is not Brahman. If you say Rudra is not Brahman, you denying authority of Yajurveda.

@TheDestroyer Lets see I will prove that to you

@ChinmayaB Does Purusha Sukta Sanskrit verses explicitly mention Narayana?
I don't want interpretations.

hrischa te Laxmischa patnyooho , Now whose wife is Devi Laxmi that is upto you
to interpret
But She will always be Wife of Shriman Naryana

Ok. So, Narayana is Brahman and Rudra is also Brahman.

@TheDestroyer
@TheDestroyer I meant Syayanacharya commentary, to prove that Rudram is for keeping away rudras, not disproving Bramhan.

4:43 PM
@ChinmayaB You can't disprove Rudra as Brahman if you consider VEdas alone.
@ChinmayaB which verse?
Even Indra is Brahman. Brahma is Brahman.

@TheDestroyer "Rudra as bramhan...if you consider vedas alone" Let me search my acharya's response to this.
@TheDestroyer Certainly not Indra is not bramhan you are bringing Advaita into this I can give you Bhagwad Ramanujacharya refutation of Mayavada for hti s
THis

@ChinmayaB Please don't say Antaryami thing. You actually can't say that when verses are explicit.
@ChinmayaB I will show you the verse. If you apply Antaryami thing, then you are applying it from some Agama or Purana.

@TheDestroyer Well if my acharya is correct than there would be more ways to prove that
@TheDestroyer How can you say that Antaryami thing is puranic or agamaic thing
@SreeCharan Any comments?

@ChinmayaB Different Acharyas have different opinions. Who are correct? Whom to believe?

@TheDestroyer Well who gives you solid proves from Shastras is the one you should belive
believe

4:47 PM
@ChinmayaB I think Agamaic. ok. Show me Vedic verse explicitly. Please don't give interpretation.

@TheDestroyer Have you ever heard of Mahanarayanopanishad?

@ChinmayaB haha. i think mostof them did that.

@TheDestroyer Most of them did what?

@ChinmayaB just heard. Don't know much.

4:49 PM
@ChinmayaB gave solid proofs from Scriptures.
@ChinmayaB If you cite that sectarian blog, then see this interpretation by Mahadeva Bhaktas. mahapashupatastra.com/2011/07/…
They will fight always.

@TheDestroyer Yeah its a tough choice but with philosophers like Alavandar Bhagwad Ramanujacharya Manavala mahamuni Vedanta Deshikacharya you cannot deny Vishitaadvaita and that is why it stands out with solid basis

@ChinmayaB I saw their commentaries. They cherrypicked verses.

@TheDestroyer do you consider BG as upanishad and A bramha vidya?

I saw commentary of Vedanta Desikan. He cherrypicked Vedic verses.
@ChinmayaB I don't what i should call. but i revere it. Also, its very recent.

@TheDestroyer Well if you think like that then Purusha suktam alone is enough How Naryana sacrificed himself to create Bramhanada and everything, so he is bramhan and he pervades everything

4:54 PM
@ChinmayaB Why do you see Purusha Sukta alone, leaving Sri Rudram?

@TheDestroyer Vedanta Deshikacharya !! Okay thats a disrespect of a god to me
Worse than Veda ninda

@TheDestroyer INterpretations help us to know what it really is. How did you know that Rudra is brahman?

He doesn't cherry pick it

And other verses which glorify Indra, Brahma.

@TheDestroyer Because you don
don't see the correct Interpretations of Sri Rudram and also
Purusha suktam is so important that it is used everywhere in every samhita

4:55 PM
@TheDestroyer Which rudra are you talking? The one who cries or who removes the cries? It can be classified as an attribute.

@SreeCharan See answer by Tezz on trimurthi birth. He gave all vedic verses which say Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva as Brahman.

@TheDestroyer There are 11 rudras. Which rudra is brahman? Shiva?

@SreeCharan Really good one !

@SreeCharan I think Samhita talks about Brahman only. Not about lower Rudra and Higher Rudra,

@TheDestroyer There cannot be more than one ruler read Bramhasutra bhaysa of Adi Shankaracharya
@TheDestroyer So there is absolutely no point in making more than one bramhan

4:57 PM
@ChinmayaB Yes. Iswara should be one. That's the reason only Brahman has power to create, preserve and destroy.
@ChinmayaB That's because you see Rudra is different from Narayana.

The basic common sense says that if there is more than one ruler then there would be no clearlity in his decisions like one day he will kill you and other day another one will send you back thats absolutely rubbish
@TheDestroyer

They are just attributes of one Brahman
@ChinmayaB Yes. See my above comment.

Well I see Narayana as Antaryami of every Jivatman including Rudra

@TheDestroyer We should care about interpretations because they made us understand the meaning. If you disagree, translation is also an interpretation. So, interpretations help us.
@ChinmayaB Are you kshatriya by birth?

@SreeCharan Then which interpretation is true?

4:59 PM
@SreeCharan Obviously, I believe in Birth based Varna system

we have many interpretations.
