@TheDestroyer I have Suta Samhita in Sanskrit which I download from archive site... It is also with Tatparyadipika of Vidyarana... Yes, Suta Samhita is important because it also contains explanations of Upanishads like Brihadaranyaka, Chhandogya, Shwetashwatara etc...
@Pandya I think BrahmaLoka described in Vedas are those realms which are beyond Hiranyagarbha.. while BrahmaLoka described in Puranas is Abode of Lord Brahma and is within Hiranyagarbha ...

@Tezz Hmm... as you know that I've not read Puranas yet. If you know the description of Brahama Loka, consider to answer the following question:

Q: Want to know about Brahmaloka

PandyaWhile reading Mukhya Upanishads, I found there are many verses that say who does upasana upon Brahman or Om, is led up or reach/attain to Brahmaloka. Example: (Verses from Sanskritdocuments and English translations from scared-texts): Prashnopanishad 5.5: यः पुनरेतं त्रिमात्रेणोमित्येतेनैवा...

1
Q: Did the first four Alwars meet Krishna or any other Mahabharata characters?

Keshav SrinivasanThe Alwars (also spelled Azhwars) are a group of 12 ancient Vaishnava saints who lived in Tamil Nadu and are famous for their poetry in praise of Vishnu. The collection of their 4000 poems, known as the Naalayira Divya Prabhandam, is considered by many to be the "Dravida Veda", or South Indian Ve...

@Pandya I've moved your messages to the chatroom discussing this question.

Hi All
Is it necessary to create a new chatroom for each discussion?

@Rickross Btw, for general discussion related to Hinduism.SE and meta.Hinduism.SE, feel free to use this room, For Vedanta and Philosophy, feel free to use that room :)
@Mr_Green ^^
@Mr_Green see description of this
@Mr_Green But I think discussing related to Vedanta and philosophy here is ok.

5:45 AM
we can do the same discussion on Hinduism chat room
btw, we can rename the hinduism chat room if we want to
like "Hinduism - Today's hot topic is Vedanta and Philosophy"
doesn't need to change everyday though

6:10 AM
@Mr_Green Yes You're right. I would like to join the discussion if there is something going on. But what I see are bots posting questions from the main site.

A: Is it legal to post PDFs as single file from indianscriptures.com to Hinduism SE?

PandyaFrom FAQ of that site: Q: What is indianscriptures.com? A: This site strives to produce the best possible transcriptions of public domain texts on the subject of religion, mythology, folklore and the esoteric of India and Hinduism. The texts are posted for free access on the Internet. This ...

So, i guess i can make Shiva Purana App now. I converted all PDFs of Shiva Purana to text searchable files as .docx files. I thought to mail publishers about copyright statues. I think i can use this content.
Q: Certain Scriptures aren’t at your site. Does that mean it is not a sacred text?
A: No. It may not be public domain, or we may not have got around to posting it. But omitting it from the site doesn't imply that we don't think it is or isn't a sacred-text.
This also shows their content is out of copyright.

@TheDestroyer Yes, public domain only applies to the texta posted by IndianScripture.com

@Pandya I think they made FAQs recently. Previously i checked but couldn't see any FAQs.

@TheDestroyer OK

about copyright status*

@TheDestroyer I think work you've mentioned is not the case of out-side right?

2:46 PM
@Pandya I will add index to those PDFs and post the links soon. Now Broadband has only 2Mbps upload speed.
@Pandya didn't get you.

@TheDestroyer I mean you're case is different from chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/34235321#34235321 right?

@Pandya Yeah. "It may not be public domain" This reaffirms their content is out of copyright.

3:39 PM
@Tezz I just mailed Shaivam.org and kamakoti.org for english translation of SUta Samhita of Skanda Purana or at least essence of it.

@KrishnShweta Hello
What do your friends call you? Krishna or shwetha?

Which scriptures have you read?
Swetha :P (But I hate. I like Shweta)

@KrishnShweta Very less when compared with others in the room.
Why don't you join our community?
I mean participate actively.
@KrishnShweta Isn't swetha a girl's name?

Bcz I have very less knowledge about our Hinduism

@KrishnShweta Same question to you.

5:41 PM
swetha is girl name.
Yeah.. I thought an english word lol

@KrishnShweta Not a big problem. I used to listen to discourses. After joining the community, I started reading the scriptures.

@SreeCharan Yeah... true. btw as Mr. Green said, It's better to have only one chat room

@KrishnShweta You know Virat Kohli? His twitter user name is @iamvkohli and Suresh raina @iamraina

Oh!! OK
So... I just googled his name so found his tweeter account

@KrishnShweta Do you like or hate name swetha?

5:46 PM

@KrishnShweta I just realised that your names are antonyms of each other

I was looking at your questions on Hinduism. They are good.

I have one more question which I will post in Jan :D
Is brahma sutra and brahma samhita are different?

@KrishnShweta Yes. But Iam not an expert at Brahma sutras. Brahma samhita is a paancharatra text.

5:59 PM
Okay.
Recently I have downloaded "Govindam adi purusham" song and searched for the lyrics. There I found the lyrics are taken from Brahma Samitha. So I got this doubt.

@SreeCharan seems you are a fan of cricket!

@Pandya Yes. I watch and play cricket. Left handed bowler and batsmen.
@Pandya I have requested access to "Handling solutions". I would like to join that discussion.
