Q: Taking your blood out during ramadan

antHello I want to run some tests in hospital (for my health) and I need to take out my blood for this occasion, I'm wondering is there anything I should look out for (like the blood thing) in order NOT to break my fast? Note : I don't have to do it during the Ramadan, but it's the most convenient...

when i read this question i was like whats wrong with pulling out blood?
then i was researching and then i concluded there is somthing wrong with it
its funny when you learn from questions
18:21
Salamun Alaikum
wa3alekum assalam
@NesreenA How are you?
good allhamdulillah
so i was going aroung the new users list
and i saw this
RandomDuck.NET, Omicron Persei-8
103 4
so i got to his website to check it out
let me just tell you i was highley offended
"you appear to be using internet explorer, well f*** you"
18:36
haha :)
its like the whole wourld is trying to get me to switch to chrome
my sisters were arguing with me saying internet explorer is for loosers
and 9gag always makes fun of interent explorer
Why do you resist than, just switch :P
noooo
i dont belive there is a difference
and i proove it to people by staying with internet explorer
:)
By the way, I just crossed 1000 rep!
welcome to the club!
18:41
It is fun to be able to edit other people's post without needing review :)
yeah
way to make the most of it
you can make chat rooms too.....but ive never tried it
I don't think I will need it.
So, did you spent laylat-ul Qadr good?
18:56
how do you know it passed already?
;)
You are right :) In Turkey people act like it's 27th for sure.
here too :/
It was yesterday night here.
it may have been last night
I mean 27th was yesterday, since time can be different from where you live.
18:59
we have the same time
we always leave for suhoor close to the same time
its 10pm here
10pm too.
Have you seen my touching Qur'an without wudu question?
What do you think?
i still dont know whats the answer
the top answer made sence that it was taken out of context and translated incorrectly
but there is other proof other then what he mentioned
@NesreenA Yes, I am confused too. But the fact that it is accepted by majority suggest that it's true IMO. Because, even with slightest doubtfull matters cause different rulings on different madhabs. But this issue is like universally accepted.
19:04
well its not hard to make wuduu
i just think why would you need to touch it without
I don't need to touch it without, but I am interested why some people argue against such a widely accepted concept.
I want to hear their objections and how credible their arguments are.
well he had a lot to say
But the thing is he is from Turkey, just like the guy who first said it in TV. I am extra skeptic from ideas coming from Turkey. You can never know who knows his stuff and who makes up stuff :)
It may be an extreme example but I remember one guy arguing that you can pray naked if no one is watching :/
ahmed han does think outside of the box.....

A: Adam's/Eve's Apple in Islam

Ahmed HanIt is not apple, it is "semerat" which means "the crop of plants and trees". The answer lies in the meaning of "semerat". Adam's story is a key to understanding how humans become caliphs one Earth. "Eating the semerat" was not an event which happend in a few hour, a few days, or a few months. I t...

i just remembered this answer
basically it says the story of adam and eve is figurative
not litteral
Yes, that is exactly why I am skeptic against him, he seem to be giving his own interpretation about subjects.
19:12
well variety in answers dosent hurt..... of course if you looking at it from view of the website
its good for the website
Sure, it is good for website. I am just saying I will not readily accept his views without extra carefully examining.
you dont have to accept it... you were just looking for reasoning
you can accept the reasoning you dont have to accept his view
there will always be difference in opinion over every subject
you know what i think about his answer, he says there are no hadiths that say you cannot directly touch the mushaff without being on wuduu
but then again, why would there be hadiths when there was no mushaff
You are right on that. But the idea of "You can't touch" has to come from somewhere.
he also pointed out a story about umars sister when he became a muslim that she told him to do wuduu, and he said there was no definition of wuduu untill later
but, she actually said take a shower, which was present much before islam
showering is a method to remove any impurities, it may be equal to wudu
back then at least
Do you know why people talk about sufi's as if they were a different sect of something? For example, islamqa.info/en/cat/140
19:27
no
I would ask on main site, but I think it is more about Muslims than Islam.
yeah
maybe if you refrased it
is there any evidence that suffis are considered a seperate sect than other muslims
somthing along those lines]

Q: Sufism considered Islamic by other Muslims?

Dan Andrews Possible Duplicate: Sufi Islam practice Do Sunni and/or Shi'a followers consider Sufi Muslims brothers in Islam? Sufism is a mystical-ascetic approach to Islam that seeks to find divine love and knowledge through direct personal experience of God. By focusing on the more spi...

it's usually a case of different assumed contexts
they are talking about way-out-there sufi groups
when they say "Sufis"
^pretty much answers the question
20:24
Ok. Allah does it for punishment is it? Doesnt make sense. He creates the world and humans. He test the humans and if they dont obey he will punish. Is it what you mean? can you explain why he created this world and why he wants to test humans and etc... your answer doesnt make sense. — Joshua 27 mins ago
this guy wants an islamic history lesson :/
im not going to sum up the reason for creating the universe in an answer to a question that has little to do with creation
and- he wants it to be answered in the coments..... one of my pet peeves, conversation in the comments section
