If you're looking to get an update and your CDN doesn't have it yet, check out MDS
1. Download it
2. Don't create SSL / uncheck the remind me
3. Select Download macOS (bottom left)

@bmike 12.5.1 showed up after a reboot. But thanks, may be useful another time.
Well, actually, it showed up in System Preferences at least. softwareupdate still doesn't have a clue.

@nohillside there’s three versions of the same build in the catalog, something is not quite clean yet for this specific update.
