@ankii Well, if I played devil's advocate, I'd say that 99.9% of users who visit this site are probably not Apple power users, and that probably 75% of regular users aren't either. And that's okay, because that's what we're here for - to help the masses who aren't. :)
But yes, not a good option for a HNQ which is why @nohillside pulled it from being listed!

Some new details on this question. Anyone have a good troubleshooting step or question for process limits reached in terminal?

Q: Catalina: After some hours various things start to crash and/or stop working

Volatil3I have noticeg that after some hours or so, Google Chrome starts giving a crashing extensions message, and at that time everything starts acting weird. If I try to open an application it says "Can't open X Application". Even the screenshot shortcut CMD+SHIFT+4 does not work. Furthermore, termi...

I’ll leave my answer up, but it’s more about chrome than system processes being exhausted and I’m not much of a chrome user to know many tips/tricks to troubleshoot it other than remove it entirely and make sure it’s chrome forking the items.

@bmike apple.stackexchange.com/questions/374791/… see the comments too. Looks like a wider problem or maybe all of them have chrome
@Monomeeth hmm I agree, even though I don't know where you pulled the stats from ;). What power use will people do anyway with such a closed system? It's just the GUI we play with most times. Power use seems more suitable for unix, SU etc.

@bmike for the [How to free up space on Macbook Air for iOS update By keeping files only in iCloud](https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/374823/) question, I first voted to close as dupe of eating my storage question, then OP updated it, I removed the comment and forgot to retract the vote. I then linked 265184. fsb saw it in review queue, voted to close so either auto comment happened or he consciously voted.
Then Monomeeth closed it but chose unclear, you opened it and mistakenly pinged fsb for commenting 265184.
I am surprised that there was no such question before

Oh well, 100 degrees Celsius on a MacMini is too hot probably, but would explain the crashes of the last days. Wonder where that comes from...

Ouch - the CPU might be OK there when it’s loaded, but 80 would be better if it’s long term (or lower if you can manage)
