It doesn't look like a dupe to me, though I'm not sure at all what cause or cure may be.

Q: My external hard drive doesn't fully mount on macOS Sierra

HadiI have a MacBook Air 2016 and a 1TB external hard drive. The external hard drive is in NTFS format and it has 4 folders. But when I mount it, the Finder shows just 3! How can I fix this?

@Tetsujin Agreed, not something I've come across. I voted to leave it open as it didn't seem to be an NTFS read/write issue, but I'm not certain what it could be unless the OP had used some sort of security software to manage the 4th folder. Hopefully the OP can come back and clarify the question - just seems like something is missing here.
