@Monomeeth We had 3 retirements a while ago, feels like yesterday but having checked it's actually been a couple of years, so I guess you weren't around then? There weren't any announcements

@grgarside You're right, I wasn't around then. I didn't discover Ask Different until early last year (and by accident at that). In fact, I still feel like a newbie half the time! So we're really just trying to get back to the number of Mods we had previously.

It's a testament to the overall community moderation philosophy of SE that the site has run so well with only 4 official Mods. Many hands make light work! :)

Absolutely! The community does a wonderful job here, and I'm sure this will continue even with the bigger mod team.
