@DanielLawson Dang - that's a nasty way to lay people off. Hopefully there's some decent benefits being paid for them while they transition.
OTOH, I haven't read MacWorld print for much in the last decade - so I'm not surprised they were not profiting - great people worked hard on that publication.

@bmike Nasty on the one hand, but on the other, how about doing it the week before and denying these people a last all expenses paid trip to Cupertino? Covering this as their last job may help their portfolio to hopefully get something else sooner perhaps.
