if so how can I have all my events back to iphone's calendar

nope.. only in iPhone

Server-sourcing, such as Google Calendar, is probably a good idea in this case.

can I check the option "Sync iCal Calendars" in iTunes, are all the events will 'sync' to iCal ?

was thinking.... if I can do that.. I can put them back to iPhone from iCal, once I reset

yes, you should be able to.
