I am not sure whether is needed, but at least the usage should be clarified in the tag-info.
So I am removing the tag again.

Q: Convergence of a particular summation

ASFDoes summation $$\sum_{n=1}^\infty\frac{1}{n(\log n)^{a}}$$ converge if $a>1$?

Q: Can't put formatted tag names in tag wiki excerpt?

Michael AlbaneseIf you enter the text [tag:tag] in the tag wiki textbox, it produces tag. If you enter the text [tag:tag] in the tag wiki excerpt textbox, it produces [tag:tag]. Why can't you include formatted tag names in the tag wiki excerpt? Both the tag wiki and the tag wiki excerpt make use of MathJax...

Q: Should double factorials be under the factorial tag?

Kristoffer RyhlThere has just recently ben created a double-factorial tag. I don't think we should have another tag just for this and that the tag factorial suits it well enough. I propose we change the tag wiki for factorial to include double factorials and remove the double-factorial tag.

Q: What's the (formal-proofs) tag for?

MvGThe formal-proofs tag currently has no tag wiki. In my opinion this might invite people to use the tag for any question asking for a (more or less formal) proof. Very similar to the way the proof tag was used before it got removed and blacklisted. My personal assumption, however, was that formal-...

Q: What is the 'transformation' tag for?

AlizterLooking at the tags, I see that transformation tag is the first tag without a tag wiki. Upon further investigation I see questions that are barely related. Some of them are geometry related, some are to do with linear algebra and others are even to do with integration. Is this tag really construc...

Q: Should we improve the fibonacci-numbers tag wiki to allow for variations in $F_0$?

TRiGThe Fibonacci Numbers can be defined in different ways. $$F_0 = 0; F_1 = 1$$ $$F_0 = 1; F_1 = 1$$ It doesn’t really matter. However, the fibonacci-numbers tag wiki says unequivocally that $F_0 = 1$, while the excerpt says equally firmly that $F_0 = 0$. Should both wiki and excerpt be edited t...

Q: Clarifying the "k-theory" tag

Najib IdrissiCurrently there are three tags about K-theory: k-theory, algebraic-k-theory and topological-k-theory. The last two seem straightforward enough, but it's not clear to me what the standalone k-theory should be used for. There has already been a discussion about these tags, but it was about getting...

Q: Could the "collaboration" tag be useful on main or meta?

Ali Sadegh DaghighiCertainly sharing the ideas is one of the main purposes of all SE communities including MSE. In the case that somebody solves an interesting problem partially or he/she has a possibly nice idea or question which he/she thinks worth to be analyzed more carefully by other experts, it could be a nic...

Q: Why do we have separate complex-integration and contour-integration tags?

Cameron WilliamsIt seems like these are nearly identical in nature. The tag for complex integration was created three months ago and the contour-integration tag has been around for over two years. I feel like the complex-integration tag should be a synonym for contour-integration.

Q: Why are empty tags not going away?

Najib IdrissiAs far as I understand, empty tags should be removed after 24h. But right now, the tags geometric-modeling and cycle-index are still around even though I'm 100% certain that they have been empty for much more than 24h. There is also chain-rule, but I don't know for sure that it has been emptied l...

Q: Inventing new specialized tags

user26857How to prevent/correct things like these: people inventing specialized tags like analytic-spread in order to get rep points from editing (see here)?
