7:41 AM
I want to show that petrol prices in India have crossed Rs. 100, but at the same time it looks a bit 108 because of e. What do you think? any way to fix it?

8:18 AM
Found a solution. I tilted it. Does it look lize 0 now?

8:49 AM
@Vikas Sorry, but no. I can't see 100. I see "RICE" though.

@Wolff any way to improve?

@Vikas I'm not sure you can write it all on top of each other 😀

means?

@Vikas What don't you understand?

@Wolff top of each other

8:52 AM
@Vikas you write the letters and numbers on top of each other

@Wolff yes

and I'm saying, I'm not sure you can

@Wolff i had another idea to make it less complicated, especially Rs symbol.

Why not 3 lines? "PETROL", "PRICE", "+₹100"?

@Wolff that would be mere text 😀

8:54 AM
@Vikas That's the challenge

I must fit 100 in either Petrol word or Price

How about just "PET₹₹₹₹₹₹OL"?

i'll just remove red color from Rs symbol because that don't need emphasis, so more chances of seeing 100

@Vikas Or "ICE"

@Wolff Yes, I had something similar idea, but problem is ₹OL can someone think as Petrol price is Rs. 0 per litre
@Wolff that's inevitable
@Wolff ICE is also necessary though.

8:57 AM
@Vikas You do one thing illogically with the colors though

@Wolff which one

The P is gray. So you would think the word "PRICE" should be gray.

I chose red because its "bad" that price is increasing

But the parts you color red in "100" is the parts that belong to "PRICE"

@Wolff yes
i can't make all 5 in same color, 100 will get lost i think

8:59 AM
@Vikas It doesn't help understanding. Somehow "PRICE" should be one color and "₹100" another

@Wolff which is impossible

@Vikas You made the rules yourself

I have another idea. I can write P in caps, that way it will stay away from 100 even when same color

@Vikas It is capital

P is in caps but I've decreased size
@Wolff yes, i mean other way
default
i feel that will significantly help

9:02 AM
PET₹100L?

@Wolff people on linkedIn will pull my leg saying it's incorrect spelling 🤣
@Wolff but I'll brainstorm it, i'll try to represent O as 100
one way is crossword

@Vikas If ₹100 was a coin it could be in a circle

@Wolff yeah :D
@Wolff we have rs 100 coin but . . .
it was released merely for respect to a former leader. it's not for use

You have another word for petrol? We call it benzin.

@Wolff thanks but no thanks
this project don't have deadline though, price will keep increasing for a while now :D

9:11 AM
I still think "PET₹₹₹₹₹₹OL" is a good suggestion. With no other text. It's simple

@Wolff I must agree.
but I can't do it

@Vikas Because it was my suggestion?

@Wolff no. i feel i had seen something similar and also I see Rs. 0 (or Rs. 20) per litre like I said before

OK

2 hours later…
11:32 AM
@Vikas you've done this sort of stuff before... I also feel it doesn't support the idea that much because you're only hiding "price" with the value... I think you can come up with a different, stronger idea

@curious I'll try
thanks

3 hours later…
2:08 PM
@curious @Wolff any of these?

2:29 PM
1st can also mean petrol prices "touches" Rs. 100 mark

3 hours later…
5:46 PM
@Vikas This could work, with the mirroring. Not quite there because 100 is to faint.
@Vikas This looks good, but I don't see "100"?

6:08 PM
@Wolff I used bars so it works to make C and E look like a bit 00. Should I fill them also a bit?
Anyway, I'm gonna finalize both of the concepts 😜
