Does "Erema Saga" make sense? Think of it as sort of a title or name given to someone.

@Adam What is the intended meaning?

@Cerberus Basically "Desert Witch"

I'm not aware of erema in Latin.
Only Greek.
Eremita exists.
It is a masculine substantive noun, though.

Oh, it might be post-classical

It means desert as in deserted, not as in dry and sandy.

That sources lewis & short as being 3rd to 5th centuries, which is fine with me if it's accurate

If you want to go post-classical/Hellenist, then I suppose it would work.
Hermit witch, perhaps.

That would work, although I'd be curious what it would be if it was closer to desert witch

A hermit may very well live in a sandy desert.
I don't know whether Latin has a word specially for a sandy desert.

something like desertae saga, maybe?

Deserta is neuter plural, so it would have to be desertorum.
That would work, though I'm not sure how strongly the Romans would have associated deserta with sandy desert.
It may be closer to "wilderness".
> dēserta, ōrum, n., desert places, deserts, wastes
Lewis and Short say this.
I suppose that doesn't sound like wild forests or anything.
But it could be cold, northern, rocky areas.

3:36 AM
Ahh, that makes sense
I'm curious what word they would have had that would imply a hot, dry, sandy desert

I don't know!
Interesting Question...
hint hint
I have to go now, vale!

3:54 AM
@Cerberus Haha, I posted it

@Adam Eu Eu!

4:28 PM
@Cerberus That interjection sounds so weird in English

4:44 PM
@Adam I suppose so!
Then make it sound Greek.

5:15 PM
/me grows a beard and goes shirtless while yelling Eu Eu

6:12 PM
Exciting!
