@luchonacho It's Greek in Latin letters! How odd!

12:12 PM
@Cerberus So it is basically an literal alphabetic translation, rather than an alphabet + word translation?

4:10 PM
@luchonacho I'm not sure what you mean by the latter.
But the words are Greek, except that Latin letters are used.
So it begins with AGIOS, a translitteration of Greek ἍΓΙΟΣ, which means "holy".

That's the Trisagion (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trisagion#In_the_Latin_liturgy), which is used in the Latin rite for Good Friday--one of the coolest chants of the year. It's printed in Latin characters in the Liber Usualis.
It's the only other Latin prayer I know besides the Kyrie Eleison (also written in Latin characters)
A recording of the whole chant (called the "Improperia" =Reproaches): youtube.com/watch?v=3hrxAwIrp8U
the Trisagion begins at 38s
