shrugs. I'm down with LoL, but is it still going on or have people lost interest

People have seemed to lose interest in the weekly games, but when we do events (like minecraft UHC) it seems to get good numbers, the problem may be that people don't realise its weekly.

@NickT: @RonanForman: If you want more interest, you could look into putting this event in the community bulletin some hours (or even 1 - 2 days) in advance; such that people know it is going on.

Because now it's just people that are somewhat active on meta or have been around on chat that would participate.

@TomWijsman How do we do that? I'm pretty sure that needs a mod to do it.

Indeed, a moderator is needed for that.

Probably best to link it to some guiding meta question instead of chat here...

another annoying thing is that the messages in chat just say "Game On is starting", not what it actually is

@NickT: I think @RonanForman can change that using Room -> Schedule Events.

Perhaps changing the room's title could be helpful too.

@RonanForman Yeah, but people that are subscribed to the event don't know what game is going on.

I usually look in the starred messages, it's not there. Reading up I see it's LoL.

I guess it is mentioned on the Gaming Meta or Meta.SO, but it would be more handy if the event just said that as Nick T mentioned.

@WilliamHilsum People do normally, but we probably need to switch out LoL for something else now, it happened with TF2 a while back too.

this originally started as a quick thing to bring the different sites together.. would be good to do it again... free games are the best in my opinion as non gaming people are more likely to join in (e.g. I don't have many recent games/only buy on steam sales)
