I mean, no stats, but for 'definitely gonna be a speed game' games theres always a major skip found within a month
I dont have an example of a game that people jumped on to speedrun and no major skip was found in a month
except those that are very protected by a lobby like 'you need to complete Mission A to even start mission B'
even then some gets break
Reminds me of the skyrim sequence break that they have a scroll somewhere that you are not supposed to be able to get to until the main quest sends you there. Like door is locked, impossible to pick, etc.
Well, speedrunners got it
and when you get the scroll, whereever you are in the main quest, you are suddenly at that point, which is a good 2 thirds 3 quarters in the game.
