I gotta say, after spending so much time with C#, I really fucking hate needing to do self.Member to access class members in Python.

I don't like implicit own member access. It's locally ambiguous, because the behavior can change depending on whether the class has a declared member with that name.

It would be worse in Python, which doesn't have explicit declarations at all, and instead you declare variables by assigning them. Almost every assignment in a method would be unresolvably ambiguous
