@Sterno It's really fun, but I think it would make more sense to wait until full release.

Essentially, though, it's Indiana Jones: The ROguelike. The player ghosts actually add a lot. Adds more tension when you've seen others fail. Reminds me of seeing SOuls phantoms.

@Sterno Gold never carries over, so it doesn't matter. Keys and Whips are lost until someone (Anyone) beats the temple (You can never lose the starting whip). Keys are used for unlocking whips, and proceeding into the next section of the temple (deeper sections rewards rarer relics, no idea what purpose relics serve).

What's the pros/cons to getting an early relic vs going to caverns?

@Sterno Caverns relic is a higher rarity's relic. No idea if that even matters yet though.

I have yet to get a caverns relic.

I came close, was doing well, then everything went to hell and I died. It was great.
