In the latest update of Minecraft Pocket Edition, it is actually possible to mine red stone ore. What you need to do is use a pickaxe that is iron or higher. So the pickaxe you need has to be iron or better. Note that gold is not better than iron. Source

The last two were 9 Lives and the Purist. I really despise 9 lives, but rock + coal + worm + Polyphemus wtfpwned everything. I did need a few tries vs Mom though as people kept distracting me.

As for the Purist I got flight and spectral tears in the very second room and the book of revelations shortly thereafter

I keep getting XL floors when I try it to. So that doesn't help.

I'm moslty through the runs required for the chest though, tha polaroid is 3/4 complete on the menu screen.

XL floors aren't always bad news

I mean yes they're one less shop and one less secret room, but they also give you more coins and bombs to deal with them

Also typically late shops have greed in them anyway
