@GnomeSlice Opening and closing the cd drive is the only thing that they might not be able to do - in the unlikely circumstance that your computer does not allow you to open and close the CD drive without using a hardware button.

Other than that, if you can do it while sitting at your computer, then someone who has control of your pc can do it.

I was pretty slow as well, but absolutely bonkers for doing it as a healer

aoe murder on enemies with 500k hp as a disc priest is pretty crazy

by the end of the grind I was about 4 hours off the pace

my guild also got realm first for every class we currently have an active raider for

no but you can recruit a friend them to 80

and they have a +% xp gain as a bonus from one of their class quests

its like 25% or 30% extra xp stacking with all other sources of xp bonuses

in all honesty, I paid zero attention to the story so I may have missed something

but it is far more of a mindless grind than cata was

they've changed the faction systems so that you can't easily grind rep anymore

it is far less casual in so many ways, while there are a whole load of new features which are definitely casual

well then its truly "meh".... story never interested me and if i want to grind mindlessly i can play diablo...

the process of grinding faction rep is now based around completing a hundred or so quests a day

rather than spamming dungeons

the daily quest cap got removed

the dungeons are unforgiving but it's obvious that they will be outgeared

rather than cataclysm's one shot mechanics

it will be a while before players with slow reactions complete a heroic instance

and it will be even longer for the players who decide to AOE everything instead of single target the correct target down

there are no valor point vendors anymore

or justice points

Well thats good. Dungeons are supposed to be faceroll trololo. Ok with the right gear it is but still.

they're all faction reputation based, and it's no longer possible to faceroll your rep up

trash in dungeons no longer gives rep

tabards are no longer available for factions so you can't grind up rep like that either

pet battles on the other hand, are reasonably boring

its not skill based at all

feels akin to playing final fantasy - you watch other entities perform predefined actions with your only input being hitting a single key every 5 seconds, with no timelimit on that so you don't have to hit the key at all, you could just sit there drooling if you really wanted

there is actually a sense of achievement for many things now

it felt pretty good to be the first guild on the realm to clear all the instances on heroic

because we went in undergeared and didn't wipe once, it was taking us 25 minutes per instance though

I can see that raiding will actually feel like a success rather than a bore, if the fights are designed at the same level as the dungeon bosses

but yeah, WoW just became a whole lot more of a timesink

now rapture scales off spirit

and mana pools are fixed in size
