@HDE226868 interesting... If they are small gears, I would suggest turning down both the speed and power. If the head is moving too fast, it might not be making the sharp point you are looking for - if you slow down the speed, the laser will be on one sport for a longer period of time so you can also turn down the power level.
Also, do you print it in rastor, or vector mode?
Raster - moves left to right, top to bottom, vector - will follow lines from point to point
