@BobCross Good to know. I was able to solve my issue thankfully. I thought it might be a spark plug, but after tests it was fine. My generator is fueled by natural gas, and it turns out that the adjustment screw on the gas regulator had vibrated loose, and it was getting too much gas or something? I tightened it up again and it started up, so I'm satisfied

That being said, I'll keep this place in mind the next time I need some engine advice. I do tend to deal with small engines more than big ones, and weirdly there are less people I know who deal with the small ones around here (that I know of anyway)
