@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 hey, does this look like a decent honing job?
I am slightly worried because all bores but #1 have a visible band half an inch below the top that does not get honed with the honing tool for some reason. Should I try manually honing it with 220 grit sand paper to see if I can hone them out?

@amphibient - Looks like they are about as good as they are going to get without boring the cylinders.
And, no. don't use sandpaper.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 thanks dude -- BTW there wasn't much grit dust. I cut a round piece of cardboard to plug the bottom of the bore so that none fall down into the crankcase and, as you can see, applied painters tape over the deck to stop accidental dust from getting into the passages. then I wiped the residue from the bore with a cotton cloth and Seafoam , which did remove a lot of black gunk that got remove (I guess mixture of grit and bore buildup). but there was no dust
I used medium speed on the drill and went down and up about 10x, like you told me

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 also, do you think I should clean the pistons and how?
